They're not imposing anything on you. Gay people being able to marry doesn't affect you. You'll still be able to marry. You can go about your everyday business as if nothing has happened. But you voting Yes to this blatant disregard of human rights affects the every day lives of gay men and women in the state of California. Rejecting this bill allows equal rights for people of every sexuality. You've just taken their right to marry away because you're ignorant and severely bigoted.

@Piriathy What's all this about equal rights? In gays and lesbians currently have equal marriage rights and they've had them for quite awhile now (California Family Code 297.5). Iowa doesn't have an initiative process like California doe. In California we let the people run their government, not the judges. Any judge who turns their back on the people they serve deserve to be impeached.
