You CAN call it a 'pomegranatini' but I think most bartenders would rather you call it by its usual name... the 'Persephone'

Why is it so many of the things you say have a obviously sexual connotation? Maybe its just my mind in the gutter but ' rocks in your mouth' and 'rim your glass'.. I love the tough New York girl thing, but your book cover suggests a more demure image.

Hey girl.. wrong. pom and orange juice are very high in sugar, and next time learn how to bartend or get a bartender to show you how to shake and garnish a drink.

I think she gives great ideas for skinny drinks and that is what she is trying to do. I think it would help if she wrote out what she put in it on a board, that way I could pause it and write it out. I would love this recipe, but will have to go back and try to figure it out.. a list would be nice. then showing us how to make it. Thank you for the idea.

The orange she puts in is way off base. but anyways its pretty hard to f up this drink. 1 oz vodka, 1 oz either cranberry or pom, served in a martini glass with either 2 ice cubes or shaved ice with pom seeds sprinkled lightly around.

She likes fizz so you CAN add club soda.. its just not normally done. Her recipe is pretty much the same as a tequila sunrise or sex on the beach but without the cream.

Still if it tastes good thats all that matters.
