@energyrc no, i believe not. You can charge LiPo s with just the main output from the charger using the regular "Charge" mode (i would not recommend) or use the "Balance" mode and plug in both the balancing connector and the regular connector.

Any solv for this error??? The first charge (one) at 1.3A and 11.1V LiPo and i fly... And one day after i put this to charge and fuck error... :( Help!! My battery!!!!

You probably overdishcharged your lipo in the flight/run Lipolys should´t be discharged more then 80%. If one of the individual cell gets to low it is trash. Or at least looses nearly all of it capacity. There is alot of reading regarding lipos and how to use them..

A Computer ATX PSU 12v is enough to fully charge 11.1v LiPo to 12.6v ?

I thought a PSU needs more than minimum of 12.6v to charge 3S (11.1v) LiPo ???

Am I not understanding something? Please correct me.

Charger's board voltage is different from an input one... it's higher. Higher enough to enable the correct charging of even 6s!

That is what I do not understand, how can my charger have higher voltage and voltage input from the power supply?

tutorials are aviable on google. just type in pc power supply mod or something like that and you will get flooded with that stuff.

I just got one of these to charge my 2 cell lipos for my Honey Bee heli. I have no idea how to use it. The manual isn't exactly helpful for people who don't understand the finer points on these matters. I was hoping to charge two of these lipos at once. Appears you need a degree in electronics to figure everything out. I haven't a clue where to start!

Hi rcflow1 how long does it take to charge the 6 cell 3000mah? Can the charger charge full 5 amp on a 5-6 cell battery?

no sohuld charge at 3 amps, usually you charge if its 1500mah, at 1.5 amps, if 2000mah you do 2 amps. this way should take one hour to chrage your battery;s, and it will be most safe, preventing damage to battery, lengthening its service life. you can occasionally double the ampage, like if 2000mah battery go with 4 amps, but only do this rarely. this way you sohuld be ready to go in 30 minutes.
