@kornlaur9181 1st if americans who have bought cocaine before criticize thats hypocritical but americans who have never bought cocaine have every right to criticize without being hypocritical because they didnt contribute to escobars tade in any way. Second I do agree that his organizational skills were incredible but a genius is a bit strong, he ran the entire country but at what cost and how well considering the carnage. Hes not hitler but consider the damage cocaine alone has on the world

@hokagealex Actually I have serious doubts that legalizing drugs in the US would increase violence. I think it is more probable that it would DECREASE violence since the VAST MAJORITY of drug related violence is associated with the organized crime, transportation, and distribution of illegal drugs.

Making goods illegal only serves to create opportunity for organized crime like alcohol back when the 18th Amdnt. was in place. Alcohol kills WAY more people than drugs.

in this days Pablo Escobar wouldn't escape fro La Catedral, a chopper Colombian special forces (Like the ones that killed Raul Reyes in Ecuador) would get him out of there in 5 minutes. The Colombia military now has so much expirience, so much power that this could never happen again. Colombia has an elite special forces, maybe third behind USA and Israel.

But none the less they are extremely good, Israeli special forces while very good would not make the top five.

Delta force was modelled on the SAS.
There are many opinions around, but the overriding one from the people involved in special forces(worldwide) is that the sas are the best, delta is not far behind.
