  • I was in Maui for a week and stayed at the Kaanapoli (sorry if spelling is wrong) Shores Hotel where their sirens were going strong off and on throughout the days. Then I went on to Kaui from there where I learned about the hurricane coming. It turned so dark outside that I took a picture around 12 noon and it looked like midnight, so scary!
