  • Anointed / Performance...I don't care what you call it....I love to hear this man sing. I look forward to seeing the LAMB of God one day. His music sends my thought heavenward...that's all I know!!! Thank you God for his talent and that he is willing to share it with us, for Your Glory!!!

  • I am so excited, this is my easter special for this coming Easter 2011. If you want to hear attend Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church in San Antonio, TX on 4/24/11

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Praise God from whom ALL BLESSINGS Flow.

And behold the LAMB Of God Who was Slain from foundation of the world.

For Us Sinners He was Crucified, the Holy one was Sacrificed.

    I love This song. Amen.

  • David has really grown in the Lord as the years pass .. from singing to S I N G I N G!!!

  • Goodness. Just sing this acapella- I want to hear his amazing voice not the annoying music...

  • David Phelps is awesome singer for the Lord. Even when I was out in the world living for myself, I always bought and sang his songs.....this man is truly annionted.....Just imagine , he could have picked worldly music to sing, but praise God he was chosen to sing gospel which by the way has always been my favorite kind. God blessings to all amen

  • The music was way too loud. He is a great, God-given instrument that he uses for the glory of God. It wasn't his fault because, never, never have I ever heard a greater voice in this whole world.

  • This was a great performance, and that is just what it is a performance. When will be able to tell the difference between performance and singing under the anointing? That isn't to say that David hasn't/ doesn't sing under the anointing, but you be able to tell the difference between the two.

  • I want to commend you for making that statement. It's very rare that Christians speak like that anymore. We believe that because somebody has a wonderful voice that brings chills to our body then that makes it anointed. If a minister preached like Christ did in Luke 4 (sitting down) we'd never call him anointed. But if he was charismatic, we'd fall all over his 'anointing'. There's a difference as you pointed out in a performance, and singing under the anointing.

  • i agree with you. he is an amazing singer with a nice range but if you compare this performance to the one of michael english singing with the gvb you could feel the emotion behind his ministry as oppose to david who was just singing

  • Sis Mickey Mangun sang a great version of Behold the Lamb for their messiah production when they had it...

  • sooooper

  • I don't think the pink/purple background helps a whole lot.....it's just a terrible background for anyone!

  • Haha, sick... if he sings like that when he's sick... hahahaha... it's the audio man it sounds like he's in the back of a hall... but humans don't hit notes like that when they're sick...

  • humans dont hit that note period! lol David is a super human!

  • David was dubbed by Wes Hampton as a vocal android! ha ha And he does indeed hit notes like that when he is sick.....I saw him in a solo concert in Panama City March 8, 09 and he had pneumonia and the notes that came from him were inhuman.........it was unreal! LOL

  • @organizer5 Inhuman because his gift is coming from a supernatural source.

  • i saw david do this song it was an awsom show he is verry anointed

  • I think it's just this audio. It's a bit muted (sorry). Still terrific. I truly appreciate this post.

  • Great performance but it seems like on this show.. he was sick or something. Didn't sound quite like usual..
