  • Hi dear ISWEARENGLISH, I highly appreciate your helpful videos, and I'd like to add that you've got such a soothing voice! If I was a little child, I'd want YOU to tell me the evening tales when I hit the bed! I love your voice and your vids are amazing and absolutely helpful! I am so grateful for them! Thanks a lot on the behalf of other people, too!!!:)))

  • @iswearenglish Hello teacher, regarding the "what" situation , could one say "I'm sorry?", instead?

    Thank you.

  • @alexggbr

Hi! When I can not hear what somebody said to me, I always say "I beg your pardon?" or "pardon me?" or " could you repeat it please?" or "come again?"-but this last one is not polite, it goes only to friends! The first three are absolutely polite!:-)) I never ever say "what?" ...that is bare-faced and impolite. Too bad my mothertongue is not English:-(((( I do love it a lot!

  • @wannaknowit Oh! Thank you very much! That was really helpful. I am too a non-native English speaker, but I absolutely love the language, it is really amazing.

    Anyway, thank you !
