I drove one after I took my 2004 FX35 to the dealer and they gave me a g37 for a loaner car and I tell you what I down shifted to second at 60 mph on the freeway and it launched and I kid you not it burned rubber and pitched a bit and launched me to 80 instantly and I nearly shit my pants it scared the shit out of me and I shifted up and got off the freeway. It sounded like a ferrrarie with it's double cluch technology very impressive.

My brother had a bimmer and i had a G, we took it out for comparsion all the time, and both of us agree that bimmer is a better car. G is a good car ( that's why i bought it) but bimmer comes out as a winner.

Good comparison. It all depends on what you are looking for. Personally, I like to have lots of luxury as well as performance. Therefore I'd take the G37 hands down. However, if you are looking for the best track performance at that kind of price range then 335 would be better.

I hate all these car magazine company. They make high high profile on the new challengers such a g37 in this case, and they crown g37 over bmw. But after couple months, they restate that Bmw is still the king of the hill. I'm like..wth. Be more consistent. Don't get excited just because the new comers. Lol...(at a club). One of the major problems with the american car companies is that they still pay retirement salaries and health insurance for thousands of retired employees. Because of this, their cost of business is way up and they are having a harder time competing price-wise with the Germans and Japanese. American cars are improving in quality though...time will tell.
I also love both the G and 335i, but I prefer the 335i. It's got a small performance edge and is easier to mod.

I hate all these car magazine company. They make high high profile on the new challengers such a g37 in this case, and they crown g37 over bmw. But after couple months, they restate that Bmw is still the king of the hill. I'm like..wth. Be more consistent. Don't get excited just because the new comers. Be more consistent and look deeper into the cars and comparison between making a statement. it's frustrating.

Lol...(at a club). One of the major problems with the american car companies is that they still pay retirement salaries and health insurance for thousands of retired employees. Because of this, their cost of business is way up and they are having a harder time competing price-wise with the Germans and Japanese. American cars are improving in quality though...time will tell.
I also love both the G and 335i, but I prefer the 335i. It's got a small performance edge and is easier to mod.

You're right that profits and sales are down globally, but there are still companies making money. I agree that the Japanese (in general) make high-quality, low budget cars, but that has nothing to do with BMW's goals. They are not making budget cars. You can't compare Toyota or Honda to BMW. Their competition is Audi, MB and Lexus.

I'm sorry, ANYONE can buy 2004 or 2005 BMW 7 series for an affordable price these days, and I actually owned BMW 3 series before, 2000 one, and it was EXTREMELY unreliable compared to my dad's Corolla. It actually DIED on the highway, that was pretty scary.

For almost 8 g's left you can really build a comfortable, better tuned, grippier, and over all faster Daily Driver, BMW needs to realize, when Nissan wants to step up, BMW is in big trouble. Now im saying this knowing ill get bombed on here, but problem is people. I work for nissan, i drive all sorts of cars all day. Im a tech. And BMW has lost sooo much quality.

nissan makes good cars, but i dont agree about bmw losing quality, i have driven a bmw since 95 and im on my 6th bmw i also had a g35 and a 350z both very nice to drive but cheap interior.

AH HA HA HA no it really doesnt. Look it up. Bmw had over 30 model recalls this year. They STILL havent fixed the cooling iussue, and besides that. Thier heavy. AND HAVE NO BACK SEAT! Thats end game right there.

Your retart its not the oil cooler thats the problem. ANd for your info nissan has always used oil coolers. I DARE you to argue with me on that one. I Work as a nissan tech lol. The Innercooler for the boost is what BMW has a problem with. And as for handling no, watch the damn video, the himself even says for the track he would take the g37. And as for the prices look for yourself You bias dote, the inf g37 almost fully loaded is like 2k more then base model 335 and btw, a $300 intake evens up.

And I would take Infiniti G37 ANYDAY over that piece of junk BMW. The Germans seriously can't build cars, well, hell, I think all of the European cars just suck. They are overpriced so that they can hide their inferior engineering skills, because everyone would think that expensive car = Good in overall. The American cars? I don't even care about them LOL
It's true, BMW is not as good as people think, it is just a heavy, showoff car. And very unreliable.

I used to drive 99 BMW 3 series and it was such a bad car, I swear, it was more unreliable than my dad's Toyota Corolla.
And I did not like the car at all, and now I drive Honda Civic, and feel so much better than ever. BMWs and those German cars are only good to pick up girls, but other than that? Nothing. When you drive Euro car, you literally suffer unreliability of the car JUST to pick up girls and to show off. I'd rather just drive the REAL car like Honda and Infiniti.

G37 will own a Challenger any day of the week.. All reviews say that it can't handle for shit b/c its still a heavy muscle car.. Maybe in the straight line, but not on the turns not even close.. G37 Forever
