  • nive move bro nice gym

  • Thank you so much for this vid

Guillotine from Side control is one of my fav techniques and I have caught my sparring buddies with this move over and over again

The guillotine has now become my favorite grappling technique

    thanks again

  • guillotine guillotines, I LOVE EM, yet i rarely get em due to poor technique, im a triangle/ rnc/ arm kinda guy, but then again months change and things become my new go to moves, as for this vid excellent instruction i will have to try this

  • All the vids you've posted so far are outstanding, but this one's my favorite. I'm always looking for more guillotine set ups to add to my game. Thanks for the vids!

  • The Guillotine to the Flipover sweep technique is also found in the Fade to Black DVD. It is the 300 by Denny Prokopos. Like Brandon said it can be done as a double arm guillotine and then transitioned into a Gator roll. SICK!!!!

  • You go to any traditional martial art school the student says Yes sir as a sign of respect to the instructor. Also it is away to start discipline at an early age for kids, so the adults due it to so kids will follow the same rule.

  • No actually they just say it out of respect. People are big on that down here in Texas. Kids have to address any coach at my gym as sir or coach though. Kids dont walk up to an instructor and just say "yo what up dude?" The martial arts must still be there even in todays mma gyms, especially for the kids.

  • @GrapplersRus nicely put. Still gotta keep it Posi and respectful in MMA gyms, just as much as you are expected to in most traditional martial arts dojos.

  • You make you students say "yes sir?" to you when you ask them a question?

    Not a bad technique though

  • you cant be serious???

  • Serious about what? I asked a very simple question, bc my BJJ school is not like that.....we call him professor. When I had my own school everyone had to respond with "Osu" (ooos) and my title was Deshi. I have no issues with you being called sir, Ive just never heard sir in a BJJ environment.

  • Ahhh. Thats why I hate text! You never know someones tone or meaning! My bad, I totally thought you were being sarcastic.

it is different to hear you say that tho...Most jiu jitsu schools I have been to call the instructor sir, coach or mr.

  • No problem, I misunuderstand tone of "voice" online all the time.

I used this technique over the weekend and I liked the transition...I didnt get the tap bc I didnt have the right angle but it was still nice to use something that I only saw online. Thx
