tell people how most people freeze in high stress, I was in a sittuation once, there was Like 50 people there, all frozen solid. I'm screaming for people to help. finaly a guy called the medics. I get so pist at how many people froze when someone's in real trouble

I have a question. I have heard a theroy that a person will start to breathe on his own if you only apply heart massage. Is that true?

Well if the child is very small, two hands or applying too much pressure could crush their rib cage.

shouldn't there be a check for carotid pulse before randomly doing compressions? what if the child already has a pulse, and heart is working fine????

It's 30 compressions now, across the board and no matter how many rescuers. The only difference is that kids get rescue breaths before the compressions, whereas adults don't. An infant is 0-12 months, a child is 12 months - puberty and an adult is puberty and above.
