you know the dubbing sucks for this, in the Russian version almost everybody spoke in rhyme, here it just sounds like they scooped the words that they didn't understand out of a dictionary, although the guy that dubs Ivan is actually pretty good

Alright movie, I think what;s going on is that you don't understand how to tell a story.

First, you introduce us to some characters. Then, we get an idea of what their main problem will be. Next that problem, whatever it is, affects the characters in some way. Then, at the end, the characters solve that problem.

You do not tell a story by having a new problem every ten minutes and a new character every fifteen, all of which leads up to absolutely nothing but more problems and more characters.
