this song has been stuck in my head ever since i first played the game 16 years ago. i even had a guy recognize it once when i was whistling it to myself, which was uncanny. one of the best from a stellar track list and one that'll always hold nerdy sentimental value.

Yes this song was expected to be in a top 20 list. But I am a bit surprised it's on yours. Not to mention this high. It's an ok song. But could have been better IMO. Maybe I played the game I so much I got tired of it? Who knows. Never a fan of the song really. Dark World and Searching For Friends are both songs in the WoR that I find fits that part of the game so much better. This song just gets kinda... out of place feeling. I don't know why.

didn't like Xenosaga near as much as xenogears so didn't play through it. as for FF9 way too childish i like the boss battle music but can't think of anything that comes remotely close too this. and it's a shame that RPGs nowadays have no world map only linear travel. a step back for the genre if you ask me
