Warp is broken in SD it makes this chapter look like a joke and takes away all the challenge that Fire Emblem presents .

Im glad they removed it in New mystery that wouldv'e been too easy (Warp MU - Kill Boss - Dance Staff user - Warp Marth and seize- LAME ) .

when i first got here (this was my first FE game) i was frikin scarred so on turn 2 i used Ellen i think to warp marth to medeus. Medeus didnt have a chance, doubled by 33

The first time I did this chapter everyone died except for Marth and when I went to Kill Medeus, Medeus had about a 50% chance of hitting Marth and Marth could only kill Medeus if he two shoted him. Luckly Medeus missed and Marth killed him.

the most easy way: Ds action replay, low HP medus and the dragon guard, get a powerful guy (Preferrably wolf), warp him to the dragon guard, make the person kill the super dragon, warp marth to medus, 1 hit kill him with falchion, u win in 1 turn.

@frestylezz: Forge critical on a Silver Bow and use your best sniper.

Forge a Wyrsmslayer/Dragon Kill weapon to get rid of Medeus/Mediuth, then attack with ranged attacks and finish him off with a powerful direct attack >_>.

How I did it:

1. Kill the dragon that's in the way with Chiki or another strong character.

2. Kill Medeus with Marth (Mine was lvl 30).

I'm playing my H2 run right now. Right now, my Marth has about ~20 AS at Lv20. Hopefully, I don't get Speed screwed or Marth will get doubled and as well as the fact he got Def and HP screwed, he's getting ORKO'd regardless(Stupid 32 HP and 11 Def).

I came up with a new plan: I'm going to park Nabarl(with either the Miracle Sword or a forged Kill Sword) next to Mediuth and try to CH him from there. Since Mediuth has 26-27 AS, if Nabarl doubles(he has 30 AS) he can solo Mediuth, but if not, at least Marth will be able to KO.

Don't have any decent ranged units? It's better to park 2-3 of those and a Recover staff user right behind them.

That would work as well. My Plan C was to use Doga's Gradius and attack him from afar. Fortunately, he has max HP and max defense. True, Doga IS getting doubled(even though he capped his speed), he does have enough defense and HP to not get ORKO'd, meaning I can spam Recover with Rena and have Doga hit Mediuth on his counterattack(does about 20 DMG)

Re: I just found out that Mediuth has 29 Attack Speed in Hard 2. This means that Marth is getting doubled whether I like it or not. Still, Oguma and Nabarl are not doubled by 29 AS, so I can give them the forged Kill Sword and hope for the best. Failing that, I can use the Doga+Gradius+Recover staff idea that you recommended.

Marth has a speed cap of 25 and Medeus has 30 speed (atleast in H5, the only mode I played having been an expert at FE 7-10) so he WILL get doubled.

I could never figure out why resistance is so butchered in this game. Marth had 1 resistance at LVL30. and all my characters at lvl20 unpremoted has 0 res.

I found out the hard way that in H2, Medeus' speed in that mode is 4 higher than Marth's cap(25) so I can't just use Marth against him unless I know it's a death blow(since Marth gets doubled whether I like it or not and can't take two 49 Atk hits. Ever.)

Still, in the harder modes, to beat Medeus and reduce casualties, it helps to have a REALLY tough unit(Generals with 30 Def + >51 HP; I'd recommend Roger or Dolph) or a REALLY fast unit(Zerkers/Snipers/SM's with 27+ Speed; SM!Nabarl, Zerker!Barst, or Sniper!Abel work)

Trust me, 30 Speed and 50 Attack(and 15 Critical) are not something to fuck around with.

He's got 30 SPD and 50 ATK. The best candidates to fight him would be 27 SPD Snipers with DEF + HP = 51 and Generals with (DEF x 2) + HP = 101.

Direct attack units on him in H5 are rather foolish.

I beat the final chapter the same way as you, though I sent Navarre to kill the Mamkute blocking Mediuth. I knew Marth could double him and kill him(I had the 12MT Falchion and 20 Str), but I was worried that I would miss. So I had Nagi suicide so that even if Marth missed the first time, he would get the kill.

For some odd reason, I lost so many characters in that run. I took it for granted and proudly went to the Gaidens. Out of the Gaiden characters, only Etzel and Horace survived(Etzel replaced Merric after his death at the hands of the Ch13 shooters and Horace was my secondary tank, the primary being Roger.).

This file is of my first playthrough on this game. Normal mode bored me so I pretty much started warp skipping the last bunch of chapters so I didn't build a solid team or anything and just used what I had here. This is probably the most basic way of pulling this off with low requisites.

Noez! Tiki died! Anyways, i was really disapointed when marth (lv. 30 arena abuse) OHKO'd Medeus with a critical. Shortly after in my disapointment i started a new game, seeing that theres so many levels of difficulty that i began playing again.

lololol. My file was great. Only had 5 useful Characters. Abel, Ogma, Marth, Merric and Lena. All were level 20 (Marth 30) All of them had max STR/MGC SPD SKL DEF/RES and high luck, Most had 50/60 health. abundant stat up items and arena abuse FTW. I beat this in one turn muhself. Except noone died and Marth did it by himself. >_>

Same here. I just beat the ass out of levels in minutes. boring as fuck game. Shame to the series imo. Some of the features are kind of cool. Forging your weapons to make them rly rly rly strong. on my first playthrough tiki killed him in one hit! She is my favorite. Nagi is good too. I've never gotten the real falchion, I always keep the orbs.

I never bother to level up Marth much in H5. I can leave him as lvl 1 and not have him level up till chapter 18 and he'd still do fine.
