I attempt to get my school to listen to artists like Rakim, K0Rino, Immortal Tech and of course Bis. I try to get them to understand and appreciate the culture of being an emcee, and the battling, they like immortal tech cus he's a little simpler with vocab but I'm really hoping people start to understand why Canibus is one of the best rappers in a long time.
There is something about Canibus that completely separates him from all other MCs. I love artists like Elzhi, Kool G Rap, One Be Lo and Pharoahe Monch, yet none of them combine metaphysics with a message. This man is highly intelligent and he truly speaks to the mind.

I attempt to get my school to listen to artists like Rakim, K0Rino, Immortal Tech and of course Bis. I try to get them to understand and appreciate the culture of being an emcee, and the battling, they like immortal tech cus he's a little simpler with vocab but I'm really hoping people start to understand why Canibus is one of the best rappers in a long time.

There is something about Canibus that completely separates him from all other MCs. I love artists like Elzhi, Kool G Rap, One Be Lo and Pharoahe Monch, yet none of them combine metaphysics with a message. This man is highly intelligent and he truly speaks to the mind.

Canibus is the best rapper in the world. Other rappers only see the catchy beats and stuff for the artist to be hot but when they hear Canibus they're like..."OH CRAP WHAT IS THIS TALKING ABOUT!" And they just can't stop listening to him. Thank you for posting this video trooperjoe. It helps alot of people learn what is real rap.

That when they listen to Canibus, they wish Eminem could be just a fraction as raw as Bis is. They know Eminem isn't smart and could never write a clever rhyme like Bis. I've been saying Canibus is the greatest lyricist of all time for years. Being the greatest rap artist and the greatest lyricist/emcee to me are two different things. To me, Tupac is the greatest rap artist of all time followed by Nas. Their catalogs are amazing. However Canibus to me is the greatest lyricist of all time hands down. He has untouchable wordplay and rhyme schemes. The only mainstream mc who kinda sorta touches Canibus a little is Andre 3000.

@Melaku85 Yes obviously at a first sight Bis lyrics might have more sense than aesop for example but I mean, I was impressed by Aesop only by that song you said "Daylight" because of the extensive lyrical content since i'm not a native english speaker. Anyways as i said before Bis' got more lyrics and sense, but for the things he's talking about, people might like to listen to something similar like Immo. Tech, Vinnie Paz or Jus Allah. You know, the knowledge of history and all.
