  • Just perfect!

  • I love the MS10 so much. Slightly grittier sounding than the MS20.

As for the tune this is amazing. Really trippy. I used to like jamming out riffs on keys and guitar. Theres little differences that somehow shine through, and it does here.

  • Pepe, you are awesome! I love this song...i'm driving my roommate crazy as I can't stop playing it! Nice work!

  • @endlesspresident

The drum samples are the only sounds that I didn't play by hand. I recorded the drum sounds and arranged them at the PC with the awful "Music Maker 2004" program. Today I have Cubase. I don't understand your question concerning portamento. If I recall it correctly I didn't use portamento very much (or maybe not at all) on this recording.

I just checked my notes. I saved my settings on paper. I really didn't use of portamento at all.

  • very good. q. did you use external processing on the ms10? i have one and it sounds a little bit like yours but i think I heard a lot of external processing, delay, verb, chorus? flange? thanks excellent work btw. and you sold this on ebay?? why??!!

  • @d3mrp0

As you can read in the last seconds of the video I used exactly three effects pedals. No flanger, but chorus (only to make the sound spacious!), delay and reverb.

I sold it, because I rather like to own an MS-20 in the future. The MS-10 is too limited sound-wise in my opinion. I only keep those synths I really like, for example my KORG 800dv (also called MaxiKorg), my KORG Trident (mk I), my KORG DW-8000 and my KORG DS-8.

  • 2:10 sounds really daft punk sweet

  • 3:42 for a second i thought that was a piano! awesome programming!

  • @jackspic3

Great! Just what I intended! :o)

  • cool demo!

  • yyyyeeeeaaaaaahhh booooyy!

  • The Best MS-10 video. You're a great programmer.... Super good.

  • @TruenotesMusic

Thank you! But notice that only the drum sounds have been programmed and arranged at the computer. Everything else is completely hand-played (without any loops or repeats). :o)

  • lol guys, mine is from year 1979, and still working.

    eBay, what's that ??? (joke)

it's a very good synthé but a multitrack recorder needed, but today with what we know, no more problem.

    good demo

  • very cool! what editing program did you use?

  • @Farout397

Err... "Music Maker 2004"... this program is terrible... I want Cubase! :o(

  • I made a little demo video of a free VSTi that simulates the Korg MS10, the Corg MS10 from Concord Music. Check it out. Grüße nach Duisburg!

  • Nice ! Thanks

  • cooooooooooool

  • great sounds!

  • I'm surprised with some of the sounds you can get from this with only the 1 VCO. I passed one of these up for 600$ but now I'm reconsidering haha.

  • Great varied demosong with solid sounds.

My favourite parts are in the last two minutes.

  • great sounds! Well done.

I find the "Copy & Paste music making displeases me!" comment very funny coming from someone who uses looper pedals so much..

  • @cha0smoon

Thanks a lot! In fact I solely used the Boss RC-20XL Loop Station for the BOSS Looper Contest only. My brother-in-law let me use it. ;o)

  • Great !!!

  • 1.07 onward is wicked!

  • agreed! could actually listen to that any time!

  • Wow! Thanks! :o)

  • very nice work!!

  • Ziemich coolen Track hast Du da mit dem Kleinen gebastelt!
