  • I'm sorry I wasn't a match for Katie :(

  • I will soon join the registry, even thought I am only seventeen. My cousin, who is four, was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of two. He had a hard battle with it and survived.

He has relapsed again and now needs a bone marrow transplant. No one in his immediate family, or the entire registry, has a match to him. I fear that he may not find a match in time.

Please join the registry and spread the word for other like my cousin and Katie!

  • after losing my cousin when she was only 18 months old to ALL (Acute lymphoma leukemia), I have been trying to find a way to save a life. My cousin had passed away, and no one knew she had this blood cancer until it was too late, it was soon discovered in the autopsy.

My cousin died almost 7yrs ago, and still today I wonder, if we knew, would I have been her match, her hero, and been the one to give her another chance. I am now becoming a registered donor and have been a blooddonor for 2yrs.

  • As a parent that has lost their daughter to leukemia because there was no matching bone marrow donor for her, I cannot over emphasize the importance of building a large, diverse bone marrow registry.
