I have G1S and the game runs better than that =) Much better. Still you are right, it does not run good enough to make a "Crysis Special Edition". Still the game is playable just fine =) As for GTA IV... well that's a whole different story, this laptop doesn't perform too good with GTA IV :(

LOL, look at the lagggg. I have the G1S although its fast it doesn't come close to playing Crysis at its maximum. This idea of advertising the G1s as machine that can play Crysis is stupid, you would need about 4 Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX on a desktop to get the most out of this game.

What they are trying to do is install Crysis and run it at maximum settings (Very High) with AA to try and sell it, but they are not doing a very good job because of the lagg with the laptop. The laptop can run and play it but not at very high settings with aa. It would be better with medium/high settings with no aa!

The 15.4" screen on the Asus laptops run at 1680x1050 resolution. Much higher than the typical 1280x800. I would say the laptop is performing quite well considering. Play it in lower res in Windowed mode and you've got much better performance.

unfortunately, laptops tend to heat a lot and after 10 mins of usage(especially usage with an unoptimized game like Crysis) and they cant use half of their abilities like they should have! I agree with you. This is meaningless. Very nice machine but its not meant to play a game which runs at 50FPS on monster machines...

I use the latest drivers from laptopvideo2go and i also OCed my card
