If he didn't get injured this past season and was healthy all the way through, he probably would have ended up with 90-100+ points. He led the league up until he was injured, and with Ovie not producing until mid-season, he would have beat out Malkin for sure.

HE is great no doubt about it, but what he needs to work out in the offseason is his discipline. For a sniper he takes alot of penalties and in key times of games. He cost the caps many games in the offseason and gave the Penguins alot of PP chances that came back to haunt the caps.

He is such a good player thou.

He's a very underrated player. Ovechkin usually gets all the credit but Semin is such an important piece of the Caps team. If Semin ever ends up playing for a team like Florida, St Louis or Phoenix (teams without any superstars), he will definitely score 90, maybe 100 points a season. Arguably the most skilled player in the NHL, not to mention his deadly wrist shot and tape-to-tape passes
