Seriously, though, there's about 400 sub-models of the Inspire One netbooks, in three major categories (D255, D257, and 722) - you need to put in the title of the video and tell us right up front EXACTLY which model you are reviewing.
Something is wrong with your audio. I think that you are using too much power on one outlet. I use to have this problem along time ago when my parents bought a new tv and connected a heating irion on a same line. The heating iron was drawing too much power which then caused lines and the same sound on your video. Be carefull. Please don't be a smart ass and reply with a nasty comment I am just trying to give you a heads up.
You can choose to load it with Windows also, right? I'm trying to decide what is better, because the one I'm getting (Acer Aspire One D255) comes with Windows 7 Starter, but I don't know much about Android so I'm not sure.. Also, would I be able to load Windows XP on it?
is there any change I can download it insted of buying a new netbook? 'cos I alredy have an acer d250 but it didn't came with android... and if there's any change, please tell me where I can download it :) thanks!
this may be an odd video response, but i'm curious how to get involved in product testing. seems like you've been involved in it for quite a while. there are so many scams out there i can't seem to sort the real from fake....they ALL seem fake. heh so is there a certain company that you test for? and how can i apply? great videos by the way. 8)
Yeah but netbooks with touchscreen = the cost of a normal laptop ($500-$700). plus the fact that it would have a 1GHZ to 1.6ish GHZ processor (useless for anything but web). but i guess that is where tablets come in.
I can only imagine that if a 3g wireless provider bundled a wireless plan with a chrome os based netbook they would make a fortune because it will literally cost the consumer more money because they would have to use the internet to do everything on the computer.
hmm, android have that multiple desktop viewing thing, so everytime you push that win/home button, i think you start new desktop :) because i dont see anywhere any list of open softwares like these browsers :)
i really dont see the point of android on Netbooks. it should remain a phone OS. its buggy as hell on the archos 5it and even worse on netbooks. just use XP if it comes with it.
why put android on everything seriously, its a god damn mobile OS it has little to no software support. Really what you is this netbook running this OS. I wonder what work you can do with this or even games you can play on it??? Useless idea
Thanks a lot for the review! It looks exactly like a D250 (which I own)... Probably because it is one... ^^ I like the idea of selecting the operating system at first boot even if it takes a while. What else was in the list except for XP? (Looked like there were 2 more things...) These tons of installing programs also took ages when I first started my D250 w/ XP pre-installed. After I removed most of them again cause I had no use of it. ;) BTW you are awesome man "mccafe i hate you" xD
To continue (cause of this weird comment size limit): I'v not really satisfied about Android on a Netbook. On a phone, ok why not... But on a Netbook I'd rather say Windows. Google seems very desperate at the moment cause they're now coming with Chrome OS which for me is just a freaking web browser where you can do nothing else while running it except surfing. Sometime later netbooks probably will come out with Androis, Chrome OS, and Windows... xD
Android is exciting for its possibilities, but it's got years of development to go. I fear that the open "app" store, and the huge number of devices that it will be supporting, will not allow it to be all it could be. Chrome OS may eventually be a better option for netbooks, and save android for mobiles.
Hm, definitely leaves a few things to be desired. I really like the idea of running Android on my phone and netbook, but if the functionality and performance (i.e.: Flash) isn't there, what's the point? Better to just install Ubuntu, or even TinyXP...

Do not see the point of Android on notebooks.
Professionally applied software under normal distributions, linux is much more than a damp Android.
The same editors for programming in Linux distributions have worked well for netbook thing it (I need it to learn programming).
