"Tsi" has nothing to do with German "Zu" (To). It is borrowed from Bielarusan and is a introductory particle for question proposition.The translation is "Whether I am crazy?" or simply "Am I Crazy?" or "It is it Me that's Crazy?" People often forget that the Yiddish speakers spent like 450 years in next to Bielarusans and Ukrainians. Of course there has been a mutual borrowing. A funny man in Ukrainian/Bielarusan and even Russian is a "Hokhmach" and a rag is a "Shmotke".

I find it wrong to "Germanize" Yiddish. In our Mishpukhah, we called this "Daatch". The first word here is "Tsi", which has nothing to do with German "Zu" (To). It is Belarusan (Yes, sir!) and it is an introductory particle to a question proposition. Polish: Czy, Ukrainian: ČY, Rumanian: "oare". Danish: "Mon". In English it would be "Whether?". Same story with the KH sound written "ch"- WRONG! It ain't German! Write it KH. Ch is English TCH. So: "Tsi ikh bin mishigge".

Am I crazy too or is this video Yiddish and Hebrew in a wild and fun mix? I am studying Hebrew with Hebrew 4 Christians-a free site with sound-(just google it) in the glossary section it has some Yiddish and Jewish Humor. You can start as simple as the aleph-bet and go through the Torah. I like the daily site blogs, just scroll down and it tells of the upcoming Jewish holidays, daily Torah reading, and upcoming Shabbat. I share because it means so much to me.

The tsu of the opening screen and the tzu of the uploaded title are both transcription errors. The singer correctly says צי  "tsi" which is a question forming word like the Hebrew "ha'im" . The verb in Yiddish is locked into sencond position in tyhe sentence (unlike in Daytsh) so it come right after צי. This is the normal way to ask "Am I crazy?"

It´s the polish influence on yiddish ("Czi" is used for "closed" questions).

Yes, in German we still say "Der Typ ist doch meschugge" sometimes (this guy is meschugge/crazy). But "ausgekochtes Schlitzohr" is also being used quite sometimes.
