Our cat is interestingly enough terrified of our Cresties. Also the parrot, parakeet, and leopard geckos. The only animal she is "friends" with is our beta fish. She tried to eat him once.
@stolenmilkcrate wow cool u messaged me back i have a crested gecko hes called carlos and i personaly give u permision to use the name lol love ur btw keep makin more
@RodneyMullensNo1 No, a chipmunk is more of a ground animal and smaller, no bushy tail, just a small scraggly tail. Squirrels are tree-dwellers mostly, larger, big bushy tail.
@quimbyt They are related, but they look completely different... he asked if they are like them and I described the ways they are different. If I said "yeah they're the same" that would be really inaccurate...
My own cat, Lucy is the same with my geckos. I wish I could say the same about Suzie, the cat I've been minding for a friend for the last month. She just caught Big Blue, a Lygo williamsi male who escaped from his viv about 12 days ago and had resisted my every repeated effort to recapture him.
I got him off her, but he died a little later of his injuries.
He was one of the first two Lygos I got in July 2009 and was very handsome and very cheeky. Am sad about the loss of him this evening.
Lucky I have never seen a chipmunk before only grey and reds.

Yes. A cat-like reaction.
Not Suzie's fault. Have tried not to be cross with her.
Your Tim definitely looks like he'd have taken a run at the ground squirrel, if he'd had the chance.
Thanks, JB.

@lemniscate47 He might have taken a run at it, but he would have tripped on himself and then terrified himself in the process, hahaha

@stolenmilkcrate Wrong chipmunks and squirrels are part of the same family. Woodchucks are even related to them.

@RodneyMullensNo1 Yes, chipmunks are members of the squirrel family. I live in Illinois USA we have several kinds of squirrels including chipmunks.

@lemniscate47 I'm sorry to hear that. Yes, some cats are definitely more... cat-like... than others.

does tim care about cresties? LOL!

@NicKtheGreeK1100 He could not possibly care less about the geckos. They would have to crawl up on his face for him to notice them.
