Hey, I remember this tour. Pro Pain were on tour with D.R.I., Exodus and Body Count. Now that should've been included on those lame ass I love the 90's tv shows.
I got to see these guys in St Louis when they opened for Green Jello and Testament. One of the best concerts ever. Only band that was nice enough to hang out after the show and sign autographs. Still one of my all time favorite albums.
Perhaps the most influencial band on myself ever...
I even went as far as to have my license plates have PRO PAIN in Virginia back in 2001. I wanted to get them to sign the plate. That is most support I could give them. I was going to see them at a local joint near virginia beach but the place was closed down for prostitution and drugs, what a shame... Most of the other time they are in EU. Come back and put out another great tour Meskil I want to see the PAIN!
I just posted a much better quality video of this. Sound and picture and far better. I tried to put the link in but youtube won't let me. You'll have to find it on your own, but it's Pro-Pain "Pound For Pound" good luck.
still the crunchiest fuckin metal band i've ever heard! i've loved these guys since grade 7 (94) and they still sound soooo fuckin tight. we used to play this song for our warm up at hockey games, it scared the shit out of our opponents. vive le Pro-pain!
i have to add, Im from the philippines this band is a virtual unknown here unless you watch mtv's headbanger's ball then.. but God! i just love how this song make you want to bang your heads around!! wooooo!!!!
i saw pro-pain in austin, tx in 93 at a small club called, backroom- i think", they opened for green jello(best comedic value) and testament(ok filler band) pro-pain rocked the f'n house down, i was right up front and could not move my head the next day, what happened guys?
Saw em in Hadley MA in a real small club on that tour. They were unreal, there heaviness live was incredible. They came out and stood around during the other sets and signed autographs. Real cool dudes.
Holy crap dude! Testament is no 'filler' band! In my opinion, they're up there with the big 4, and definitely more influential than they're given credit for!
Gary you always killed THE SHIT BRO. Sorry I took your monitor for a walk 'round the floor. Was fun hey! Dave @Steel City Strings.......!!PEACE BRO"S!
I haven't heard this album in forever, reminds me of my job corps days back in 1993! I just wish there was more Foul Taste of Freedom songs on here to listen too. I love it! Thanx
@SmokeCloudz "I always thought the coolest thing in this song was that little "hip-hop" thing the drummer does." -THIS. whe i was listening to this i cant wait for that drum's part
Damn haven't seen this in a long ass time. I found the CD that I lost like 8-10 years ago in my parents house a few months ago. Thought I lost it the great CD purge of 2001(ex-wife hocked my cd's after throwing me in jail). Still great shit though. Love the high-hat thing in there.
Yes I understand that, as I was listening to Pro Pain and Souls At Zero, Megadeth and the like when I was in high school... But Pro Pain has an anti bush album out, which is so overdone and stupid... Thats the point, son.

Because Pro Pain is showing it as an symbol of represion and this song (Pond for Pound) talks about represion.
