  • Like the lighting strikes on the cabinet, awsome job, wanna make my own one someday when i got the money for it lawl xD

  • I dont understand how you got all that stuff on it, but Fucking. Awesome. Cabinet

  • Looks Good!

  • SIIICCCKKK I really want one

  • what display are you using, is a tv 480I, or a computer monitor, this is the hardest part of my build

  • @adamlove81 Original Wells Gardener K7000. Original looks the best on these games.

  • You*

  • I really need to know how where and what you did for the paint/color, did i spray or use vinyl etc?

  • By the way, whats the specs on the computer if your able to play dreamcast games on it?

  • You should have staggered the buttons at an angle because it wouldnt be as hard on the hands to play. Maybe placed your hands on the surface in the right angle then cut the holes. Im going to build my own cabnet as well when i get a bigger house to do it in. Cool video regardless.

  • @worldgate989 I dont think I would have liked it as much. I cut them the same way my Big Blue cab SF2 are because Im used to it and it never gave me any problems. Its an optiplex GX270 I cant remember the exact specs off hand.

  • @jayrod2 I really like the program your using to display all the games, sadly its only for windows and my machine is a ubuntu 9.10 install. I would use windows, but the problem lies in the ease of virus to get on the machine. Also, I use my box for movie/tv playback, the vdr+xbmc was a massive pain in the ass to setup. Hopefully someday the program will go open source or they will realize that many people use linux for their htpc's.

  • @worldgate989 Try running it under WINE.

  • now your playing with power

  • are you selling this?

  • @younglinkxx Not in this lifetime, sorry.

  • @jayrod2 how much was the arcade cabnet and where did you get it?

  • @younglinkxx It was free because alot of it was falling apart. I found it in a guys shed that was also falling apart and wasnt weatherproof so it got rained on alot. It wouldnt have been long before it was completely useless.

  • @jayrod2 wow u got lucky with it how much do you think an empty shell would cost ?

  • @younglinkxx Prob atleast $50-$100

  • @jayrod2 cool thanks oh and one last thing the soft ware and hardware what was it and where did u get it?

  • @younglinkxx Hyperspin, ultimarc, MAME, there all online.

  • Awesome!

  • @drbeckerproductions Yes you can connect it to the internet however, hyperspin does not have multiplayer build in your would have to run that externally. The arcade controls are set with the ipac and the ipac just makes each button a letter,#,symbol on the keyboard.

  • Holy shit, does that thing have Pulseman, Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Adventure, Street Fighter Alpha 3, or Donkey Kong Country 2?

  • @Drbeckerproductions Yes, All except SFA3 but only because I have another cab just for that game.

  • @jayrod2 That is amazing, and thankyou for response. Also, since im guessing that thing is running off windows, can you connect it to the internet and use mame32k to play arcade games online, or does the built in arcade controls only work with that program?

  • @Drbeckerproductions I dont know anything about arcade online, but the controls will work the internet and windows just like keys on a keyboard.

  • I feel like it's 1990 all over again watching that demo screen. Fun time pizza, pizza time, hours spent lost in the arcade. Allowances blown through immersed in that video world. Times were good. Kids today don't know what they missed.

  • damn boy thats sweet

  • This looks awesome dude. Does Hyperspin start up right away without having to go into windows?

  • @JBOPatrick Yes it does.

  • MAD PROPS! That is awesome.

  • I am so hardcore jealous right now. Insanely good-looking machine, my friend.

  • Donkey Kong Jr. is such a bitch in Super Mario Kart.

  • @aleckermit yeah whatever happened to him? They never brought him back for any of the sequels. Or any other DK game for that matter :?

  • what program are u using on the computer in this cab

  • @DigitalxxxFr34k MAME32 and Hyperspin FE

  • @jayrod2 thanks for the response

  • dude i totally need one of these. how much $ to have you build one 4 me???

  • I hope that genises part of the mame has "Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine" I could play that for hours.

  • @TheJMachine yep, more than 1 version. My wife likes that game lol.

  • lightning is a bit too busy for me should have kept the front clean but great job

  • @misterbearbe I thought the same thing when I was done but it grows on you and it looks a heck of alot better than it did. I was kinda trying out my airbrushing skills. Have you ever seen the Primal Rage cab? Now thats overboard!!

  • very nice build dude, what version of MAME are you using?

  • @phatlip2 MAME32

  • Very electrice (i know thats not a word)

  • now this is pure bliss here great job
