That's what you get by investing in such a good machine i.e flat top. I have M4 Adventure but most of the running hour is in the workshop to diagnose persistent ignition problem.
@camarbuana ABSOLUTELY! I've flown nearly every machine in the world, and that's why I sell Flat-Tops! They are built to last! Thanks for the great feedback in the comment. Let's get you a better machine: 800-707-2525.
@kostasssism Thanks for checking out the video my friend! I guess some people could get dizzy, but most people take it slow until they are used to flying. I've never had a problem!
Hey im looking to get into this sport... anyway to get in cheaper than 11k... Also, are they difficult to operate? I have raced motocross my whole life, and always wanted to get into this.
@parmstrong32x Yes we carry both new & used gear starting from $5000 on up for a quality setup. Give me a call anytime you are ready and I can give you a list of options and the differences. Yes it is very easy if you get the right instruction. If you don't then no it isn't easy as it isn't really something you can just figure out. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Dell 800-707-2525
@frecklehero The best pilots all get Flat Top paramotors. A top of the line package is only about $11,000. It is important to get really high end gear like the Flat Top as it also has the best safety & durability.
I assume you don't want to fly in windy conditions but what is the windyest condition you can fly in but still be pretty safe while doing it? and is there any places around Louisiana where i am from to learn to fly? How long does it take to learn to fly a paraglider with the motor and to be able to then fly on you're own?
I fly in up to about 25-30mph winds as you can see in some of my other videos. New pilots should stay in winds below 12-15 until they get their skills up. Give me a call and I'll get ya fixed up on instructors closest to you and how to get started. This is some seriously fun stuff man. Totally cool. Dell 800-707-2525 or 801-631-1731
Although I would love to be trained and certified by yourself, I am from Ontario Canada and was wondering if there is a person or company you would recommend in Ontario for my certification.
Yes I have several dealers that are up there, also the world record holder is up there I might be able to link you up with. Send me a message and we can talk about how to best get you started. Totally fun stuff man!
About an hour and a half depending on the glider. Of course if you want to stay up you can use lift from thermals and stuff and then you can often stay up all day without your motor on at all. It is a glider we fly and they work awesome.
Quick question. What would happen if you ran out of fuel while you were far away from home, for example on top of that mountain. Can you add an extra tank on the Flat Top? Because I wouldn't be too happy landing on top of a mountain, finally realizing I'm out of gas (and oil).
That's the great thing about flying the mountains, up at that altitude you can just glide all the way back home. Now if you are out on the flat lands at low altitude then yes you have a very long walk carrying all your gear. I've only walked once but it was 5 miles or so. You learn very quickly to pay attention to those things and always be prepared.
Hey Dell! I have a friend near Hollywood, California that is a 3d Cinematographer and he's interested in the potential of doing a tandem flight (trike?) with a 3d camera rig to document the flight experience. We can talk about this more. What do you think?
Yea uh... I think I messed up the camera angle, I better do it again. Oh darn lol. Boooyaaaaa!!! Soooo dang fun!!!!! That was one seriously awesome flight. Dang that was cool!

how do you control the pitch.
FlyHighRC386 1 year ago
@FlyHighRC386 With the brake toggles, just like a parachute. Add brake increases angle of attack, let off brakes to reduce it.

But then again the tank lasts for a very long time, couple of hours is plenty. So, not a big deal.
