  • and to think now he hits 200kg on a regular basis......GREAT improvement

  • C&J then snatch? this vid is backward no?

  • @trinity9011 Title is c/j. no snatches in vid.

  • no shit he's a lifter

  • He doesn't look like he is even trying when he cleans 173. What is his ME clean?

  • Damn! You soooooooo totally had it! Amazing work though regardless. I would've loved to see you put that Flemming kid in his place :D

  • I can't believe he didn't manage that. His clean is completely effortless.

  • What position in football does Rob play?

  • @tooloocrew fullback

  • @BROZKNOWS Shit, I guessed linebacker!

  • @BROZKNOWS Primarily a receiving fullback I would assume? He's gotta run a sub 4.5 with how much power he's got for his weight. I would've expected him to be more of a skill guy than a blocker.

  • damn, a split second of doubt and ....

  • man that judge was a real prick to give a red light.

  • Do you know why Rob's 2nd C&J, the 2 to 1 good lift, was given the 1 red light?

  • @Schwarzalbenheimen slight press out

  • An awesome recovery from the clean, normally when they come up that quick the Jerk is a dead certainty! I didn't think that having a good bench press helped in Weightlifting, indeed I thought it was a hindrance to the Snatch!

  • So close... I think he was the strongest lifter there, I'm guessing there was some stage fright and anxiety. Still, great job on 2nd Rob.

  • Wow, Rob looked so strong on that last clean. Just bad luck with that jerk, I know he jerks that weight in training. Great work guys. -Denver

  • Charlie is the best!!

I like that guy Beyer best for lifting form, but Rob was still better than JF.

  • The clean recoveries were soooo easy! Sick!

  • How much did Rob C&J?

  • thanks for the upload didn't get a chance to catch any of this live

  • BROZKNOWS do you have any any advice or tricks for someone with a benchpress upperbody, in other words messed up mobility and general overhead ability?

And does he really play football on top of weightlifting, what does his schedule look like?

  • @ev1bl I would suggest a LOT of stretching and dumbell shoulder exercises that utilize full range of motion, especially for rear delts.

At that time he was doing football training (running, lifting, ground work, etc.) every morning (sometimes 2x/ day) then lifting again with us in the afternoon or evening. About 17 sessions of training / week.

  • @BROZKNOWS dedicated kid

  • Wow, the last clean looked like a warm-up, you said he was having some issues with the jerks that weekend due to other football training.

  • @grambo22 Football training had him bench heavy up to the day before we left for the meet. This really had an effect on his upper body. He did clean 187 in the warm up room following the meet.

  • Great effort Rob. so close on that last Jerk. keep at it

  • Easy cleans, powerful jerks.

  • That was some easy lifting for Rob, a shame he was having a bad day overhead.

  • Damn that was a strong clean. Reminds me of Kakiasvilis.
