There is an old Bugs Bunny cartoon where Bugs and another character are stranded in an old shack and have run out of food except for one bean. I will never forget the part where Bugs is cutting thin slices from the one last bean for himself and his friend.. I first saw this cartoon when I was a kid and for some reason current events in the US and around the world keep bringing it back to mind.
Today its MC. mansions while tomorrow it will be wallmarts and big box stores. After it will be 40 and 50 story office buildings then towns and cities.
Dewd the crash was sept 08-march 09 , logicaly from there the only way for everything was up .
The bailout money ,and printing suggested inflationary pressures . I bought oil at 52,58,64,70,72 ,77,plus short term high low trades ,and gold from 913 .
These kind of crashes only come round every 5-7 years ,be sure not to miss the next one ;-).
Ontario's economy is mainly based in the auto industry. When they the big three were hit hard Ontario was bound to take a bigger hit than other provinces. On the east coast we have always been have not provinces so this recession didn't affect us much.(smaller booms= smaller crashes.
I'm unemployed/self employed. I have no choice. I have applied for over 80 jobs since June. Since I am a single father, I am not allowed to move out of my state. I have litterally applied at most places STATE wide!!
I just keep doing what I have to do to keep my head above water.
Government just keeps spending and spending....... It'll NEVER get better!!!!
All I can do is follow my gut. And my gut has told me to prepare. The feeling has been getting more intense with every passing day. If we get through this without anything major happening, then for once in my life, my gut will be wrong. Peace.
I think they have it all sewed up so well that it'll just be, as you put it, a lower standard of living, especially for the US.
Here, the same, as we tag along with the US. Increased poverty. Not like the 'great depression'. Too many people, globalized, computerized, governments have access to loads of debt. The wealthy just have to decide how much they want to control, how many villas, how many shopping trips to Paris. They don't even notice the ordinary person as long as they have their stuff
Another great vid. I can tell you that if you lived here in Northeast Ohio where I do, you'd say the econommic collapse had already happened. Most of our jobs have all been manufacturing. The rubber and steel industry were HUGE for us and they are gone. Our next largest employers were GM, Chrysler and Ford. GM is nearly gone, Chrysler IS gone and Ford is laying off more and more. Record foreclosures, job loss and unemployment claims. Its pretty tough around here right now. I've been very lucky.
I really enjoy watching you videos. I admire your lifestyle, you seem to be easy-going, you seem to have a relaxing job, you bear a lond beard, you live in the fields, OMG you are blessed.
The crash has already happen. We are going to have a LONG...decade plus...DEPRESSION. You are going to lose your job.....your house....you will watch your friends and family lose everything too. This is not going to snap unless there is a MAJOR Catastrophe, Man made or natural.
The rich will have it made through this Depression.
Go back to work and quit waiting for OCt. 25th or whatever date they give you.
Your right people should be prepared. \\\\\\\\\the collapse is with us already but look at it as a good thing. the system was immoral and nature knows its time for a real change. the order of things will be different in a sense no order. But harmony ...a natrual mystic..
I think the Cdn real estate is higher because there are alot of first time home buyers that think this is a great time to jump into the market before prices really go up......NOTTTTTT!!!

This has all been engineered to bring countries together towards a one world government. Once that happens, prophesy will be fulfilled. The kings of nations are starting to gather for the final battle.
The situation is only going to get worse, but the final outcome has already been decided, which is victory.
Have you guys heard that the Euphrates river is drying up? It's true. So this means the 6th angel has already poured out his bowl.
U guys are a welcome breath of fresh air...down to earth and tell it like it is from the people's perspective...Appreciate your matter of fact and common sense approach...Thanks HomesteadAcres!
it will happen when there is nothing left to LOOT....the US will pull the trigger....right before someone one else does...dollar is at 74.9 oil at 81 as dollar collapses...
the dollar parity between U.S.$ & cad $ is a sign that Americans arent spending nearly as much as "they'd" like, & not believing "their" lies as much as they'd like to see you. they're telling canadians that they should buy houses in the U.S. now. it's also a good way to get us onto a new amalgamated currency.
Everyone's looking for some massive event to let them know the collapse started. Well, the truth is we started to see the collapse two or three years ago when the massive credit bubble started to deflate. So really we shouldn't be waiting anymore, we should be preparing.
I think if you have a job -- things are getting better -- If you are one of the millions who do not things are getting worse. We need a crash -- but will the really rich let that happen -- well I'm not sure now -- as they loose if it gets to bad and they are a greedy bunch --
People fear a crash, but unfortunately I believe that is the only thing that is going to give people the motivation to come together and take the power back from the government and big corporations, and no I don't mean through physical violence even though that would also be a very likely scenario if the economy gets bad enough.
The collapes is in slow motion right befor our eyes. Check out TheModernMystic here on youtube...and the U.S. labor numbers..the U6 number to put a point on it.....and keep an eye on the USD index
the ones orchestrating our Reality rely upon our attention being on them or their machinations. unfortunately theyre play'g w/our lives :o(. theyre play'g w/our weather, theyre play'g w/our minds & the power of our minds to create Reality. look into how our minds Creates our Realities, individual & collective thought fields. it sounds strange but they feed off our Thought Energies. thats why they create "news" & tv programm'g to use our minds to help THEM create the Reality that THEY want.
Ok folly - meant to ask you on another channel - you give this viewpoint of what 'they" are doing to our reality/minds- but what is the answer to this? What are your thoughts on how to defeat this agenda and manipulation?
(Okay, last comment (this video had a lot of topics in it!) Regarding people moving back to the cities: I just finished the book "$20 a Gallon" (based on the peak oil premise) and in it the author concludes that people will move back to cities so they can walk everywhere and have access to schools, services, etc. close by. It was published in '09, and I liked it, but was kind of disappointed that the author totally ignored the economy downfall that occurred in the Fall of '08.
i-i-i-i think there is no legitimacy to the "markets" & the "news"...a collapse will come when / if it fits into their plans...we shouldnt wait for it...theyll doing it when you're not pay'g attention. if it's any indication, it's too soon to force change on us all at once. thats why they're doing it so slowly that when you're looking over the right shoulder theyll be orchestrat'g it over your left. as long as you put your attention on it it wont happen because they have your attention already.
As for the crops: Around us, the crops have done great this year -- abundant hay, corn looks good, beans too. However, if it doesn't quit raining soon, the farmers either aren't going to get it in off the field or they're going to be spending a fortune having it dried to a storable percentage at the grain storage facilities.
You make some excellent points. My brother saw these troubles coming and warned me to liquidate my assets years ago. I also think that taking a cautious approach to big spending is wise in personal finance and within our cdn government as well. What's happening in the US is down right scary. It's hard to tell where we're heading when you look at the market numbers and the usual indicators.
We call the stock market the "Hysterical Woman" here at our house because it takes very little to set it off one way or the other. : ) As for what the economy is going to do . . . I am getting to the point where I just what "IT" -- whatever "IT" is, probably dollar collapse and its assorted ramifications -- to just hurry up and happen already. The waiting is getting old and more and more stressful as we all hold our breath. In the meantime, we're just trying to live life as usual.
I dont know if it will crash, I hope it doesnt because that will truly be a dark time not just for the U.S. or Canada but the world.
I live in Tennessee USA and every other commercial I see on TV is someone buying used or scrap gold. Im sure someone is taking advantage of our economic problems and fears and making a killing at it.
If the bottom ever does fall out, will we go to a barter system?

Canadians number 33 million and sit on top of 60 Quadrillion worth of Resources
Do not look for too much of a collapse in Canada.
On the other Hand in the UK and in USA they have no chance not to avoid
a very severe future.
both are over populated have little resources and are not going to see a good
out come.

Hey HomesteadAcres.
I have a question for you.
Have you ever thought about going off the grid?
Making your own energy using solar or wind to power your home and farm?
That would be yet another step to be prepared for an economic crash.
Just an idea. Would love to see a video response.
Keep up the good work.

I guess most ppl don't realize we had a few depressions last one was in the 1929
We also had the "The Panic of 1873" that lasted till 1879 . I just hope that there won't be another too soon.
as far as Canada seems like you guys have it better up there then us, but I was reading about Ontario " Ontario deficit balloons to $24.7 billion "
Many were blaming Dalton McGuinty, they were saying he was spending money like a drunken sailor and they want him out.
