Also, my grandmother died from a hospitalization from polymyalgia, so what if she would've used something like a steroid that was illegal, instead of the steroids that ate her up, caused her to be on diabetes medicine to control her blood sugar and blood pressure pills?
Moderate use of an illegal drug that mimics prescription steroids could've managed her polymyalgia, if paired with anti-oxidants to address the damage done to the muscles in order to increase the motility... but no, it's illegal, and because it was "illegal" she wouldn't use it, though it used to be legalized in Japan, and a controlled dose could've helped her.
I don't have health insurance, I haven't had it for 6yrs., and I don't want to pay for Public Option when I won't use it.

If you knew anything about colonial history, you would know that slavery existed before conservatism and liberalism did. there have been racist Democrats (i.e. George Wallace, John Stennis, Lester Maddox, Howell Heflin). But all these Democrats had one thing in common. They were social Conservatives (not liberals) who opposed integration and 90% of them fled the Democratic Party to join the Conservative movement that was migrating to the Republican party. Even Ronald Reagan said that the Civil Rights Act was "insulting to the South".... social Conservatives loved him for that and the south has been red ever since.
