@wapzilla That would be Rocky Athas, a good friend of mine from Dallas, Tx. He grew up with none other than SRV and ZZ Top here in Dallas. I played with him for many years and knew since I was kid. He now plays with John Mayalls band. He does a great song "Hideaway".
@wapzilla Haha, no problem buddy;) We all grew up in the same time as SRV and Dimebag Darrell from Pantera(Heavy Metal band). I'd seen SRV play when I was about 16 in a lil underground club/bar called the Cellar. It was in Downtown Dallas. Rocky and Steve grew up together as did Bugs Henderson, ZZ Top, Eric Johnson, Fab T-Birds, David Brown(taught Steve) and host of other great musicians from Texas. You can read about most of them in a book called Soul to Soul by Kerry Leigh.
@wapzilla I'm glad you enjoyed the video too. I think Eugene is king of the blues. Like so many great artists he is not widely known. All blues lovers should hear his music.
Eugene you're really good, get down bro'

What a fantastic tone ... he hardly moves his fingers and the notes just keep pouring out of that guitar, sweeter than any human voice!
