  • This person is VERY misinformed and makes inaccurate claims about the outlawed and outdated racist one drop rule. Slavery had nothing to do w/ race. You were only a slave if your mother was a slave. So therefore it was matrineal. Multiracial designations were well acknowledged thruout history but that changed during the Jim Crow era. 1930 was the last year that mulattoes were acknowledged in the U.S.A censuses!

  • I love this talk so much. It states what's going on and some ideas of what needs to happen.

  • Wow this is interesting and he is a very smart men.

  • well is it so hard to understand that mixed black americans identify themselves with black people more than white, when the white genes come from rapings of their ancestors.

  • What makes a person Multiracial?

Do you include the race of the grandparents,or just the parents ?

  • @MarquitaD111 both of my parents are biracial. Thats makes me a multiracial person.

  • I published a review of this book, when it came out in 2002. You can read it at Backintyme Essays.

  • How about for him More than :Heterosexual? Multi-sexual preference.

  • Hey I know this guy, that's my "Uncle Tom"

  • It was NOT "a trace of African American (AA)" that listed a person as "Black"!! It was "a trace of BLACK" that made many AAs falsely listed as "Black"!! African-American (AA) is NOT a synonym for 'Black' & it is NOT the 'Black' RACE group!! The AAs are a largely Multiracial ETHNIC group made ONLY of "the 'descendants-of-the-survivors' of the chattel-slavery system once found on the continental US"!!

  • I indentified myself mix-race in UK and Europe. On my Brazilian birth certificate states that I am a pardo. My mother is a cabocla (mix between black & native Indian) and my father is white European. I didn`t choose to be a pardo that is my Identity; I am a mix of races. You know what this is all about? Is about an ethnic minority being scared of be extinguished. Black race will soon not exist anymore because the white, Asian, and the fast growing Mix-race are predominant.

  • The white Elite and politicians accept this one drop rule not because they want to protect the black race from dying off but because if the Black race eventually get extinguished it will make them look really bad for not only slaved, abused blacks but as well to have created an ant-black society where is better not to exist than be black.

  • He's wrong on one thing. It was through your mother, not the "One Drop Rule", that determined that you were a slave. The One-Drop Rule was not in U.S. law until 1930. In Anglo-America (not French or Spanish territories) if your mother was slave you were, if mother was free you were, regardless of race.

  • @DaTruth2024 or you were killed cause your slut of a mother slept with a black beast.

  • @Killbbob: Go fuck yourself, you evil son of a bitch! I am NOT Biracial and I do not even have a "white" mom. All of my grandparents are "multiracial". Go die in a hole you scum shit!

  • P.S.: Not all "multiracial" people of African descent have "white moms". Some have mixed moms or "black" moms. Idiot! LAMFAO.

  • @DaTruth2024 You're mixing facts. The truth is that Tennessee adopted a one-drop statute in 1910 aka the “one-drop rule.” Not 1930. 1930 was when the rule became a stronghold in US law over many states. Prior to this multiracials were seen as mulatto. Being born a slave wouldn't matter in regards to the one drop rule because slavery ended in 1865, the one drop rule was part of the Jim Crow era. He said the one drop rule determined whether you were black or white. Not a slave or free.

  • Well, it's not only slave rape. There were real relationships between white males/black females and black males/white females, free or slave. Esp. with the creoles of color and in the caribbean.

  • @cherri7 uh blacks were also slaves in the Caribbean as well it wasn't just North America

  • @BiracialGirl1977 the only way to be certain about my ancestor is getting records of him.well i'm more interested in getting info about the ethnics in my background since i already know the races.....

  • This guy looks asian to me lol,we all see what we want to see.

  • That guy talks too fast.

Nah, you just listen too slowly :D

  • @wcibbt your right.white should be offensive in america.i prefer calling someone by their name or the country they came from[example irish,french,....].i live in canada and calling someone black, white or whatevr isn't offensive like in america.

  • black males DO NOT desperately seek European women (a small group do, some for insecurity reasons, some just because the women they love happens to be white) but this is a MASSIVE misconception. Anyone who can do statistics can see that its not true. Most black men still marry black women, its just the proportion of inter'racial' partnerships is higher than with black women. In fact if everyone could not see each others' colour, statistically black men should be dating more black women.

  • More than white? Multiracial identity.

  • @blackclassics Agreed!

  • @blackclassics

it is more than one race. ;)

  • What the hell is ASSIMILATED supposed to mean? He's not a foreigner... this is his native culture...

"American" means you are a citizen of the United States that believes in the ideals of our Constitution.

  • mulattopop aka whitehnicpride.People, don't forget to watch my vid about this racist you tuber.

  • Not all "black-mixed" people are "light-skinned". I am darker than some monoracial "black" people. Genetics is very confusing. For example I'm "black", "East-Indian","East-Asian" and "European". I am a dark caramel, while some call that "light-skinnned", I sure don't.

  • @UniversialLove365 boooooo!!!!

  • Unless your friend really did want to make that club, more than likely, he or she was just being obnoxious. I've met people who've tried to do the same thing, but they always give up easy because they are just making a point - they could care less about "European ethnic pride." But if I was a student/faculty at that school, I wouldn't object to that. The majority of ethnic clubs at my school have members of all ethnicities.

  • The problem is, Europeans have a hard time separating racial pride from White supremacy. When they can be proud of their heritage without putting down other people, then they can have clubs similar to other groups.

  • You know, I find that offensive. Are you trying to imply that if I were to enjoy a club dedicated to a culture that I can relate to, I would be battling with inner demons about putting others down in such a gathering? NO. These clubs are about appreciating where we come from and finding a common ground with others to relate to. To be in one certainly doesn't mean that it is a gathering to demean others, and it is extremely rude of you to say so.

  • Do you think white people are the only people who have superiority complexes? EVERY race has someone who thinks that they are better than everyone else. I don't see why I should be punished for it by not being able to celebrate my own culture when it isn't just white people who have harbored such resentment towards others.

I'm not trying to get into an argument here, as I see that my posts might be heading in that direction, but I am upset by that double standard.

  • HybridMoon,

No, Caucasians are not the only "Race" to have a superiority complex; however, they exhibit the highest percentage of people who think that they are the greatest "Race."

  • It's not a double standard. If you observe the differences between the racial/cultural pride groups, it's clear what the actual focus of the European groups are. The focus is solely on the racial, physical, and mental superiority of Europeans. At the same time, they resort to humiliating and debasing other non-White groups. I just don't understand why that is necessary. NO other group does it to the extent that White people do it. It actually makes you look insecure.

  • I can agree with you to a point. But you're stereotyping that cultural pride in Europeans is based on humiliation, and there I disagree. Their have been infamous incidents where this has unfortunately been true, but that doesn't mean every single person who is born with white skin and is proud of their culture results to demeaning others. When one race is a majority, of course you're going to see a larger extent of hatred in the larger population.

  • The point is, it doesn't occur to the extent it did then. This is now. Everyone should be treated equally and be given a fair playing field.

Just out of curiosity, have you traveled outside of the US? Because we have it pretty damn good here regarding race. If you want to complain about prejudice -today,- check out what's going on in Asia. If I can recall correctly, China doesn't even have laws against racial discrimination--You might want to double check that though, because I could be wrong.

  • Just keep in mind that at my school, ethnic clubs are open to everyone, and people of other races are encouraged to attend. I love learning. I find culture absolutely fascinating. I just find it upsetting that I am able to learn and appreciate every culture under the sun except my own because "the focus will solely be on mental, racial, and physical superiority," according to you.

This is a school. These are high school students. KIDS. They're not as jaded about race as some here believe.

  • Well you know what? I'm young. What do I know?

Give me a decade and I very well might end up agreeing with you.

  • mom2dave, you have made an astute assessment of the subject of White pride, and it's interpretation. I agree 100%. I don't have a problem with someone White being proud of their ancestors, so long as they don't look down upon other races.

  • That's right, you can't stop it so you might as well get on board.
