@sheatsy666 He was introduced in a Superman comic back in the 1930s or so.... long before Batman was even born. He made an appearance in a couple of Batman episodes, but he's solidly a Superman super-villain who just happened to tangle with Batman also, but much much later.
@annoythedonkey there still around today but they are not as popular as they were! they released a new album in 2010 called "oooh la la" and they are releasing a new one sometime this year!
@averydeadmule The song is dark and sad. That dark sadness comes from the lyrics. Not Brad's voice. His voice brings it out, yes, but the dark sadness was there before he ever sang it. And he wrote it. Think about that.
@m4rcus4ur31ius I never said there was anything wrong with his version. I like it very much. I don't think there is anyone that could concieve this song but Brad. I just said that Nataly heard a different version in her head, Think about it. Brad and his band had months to work out this song, and Nataly did her version in less than a month. That includes the harmonys, and working out all the parts on all the instruments she played. Give her some credit, man
@m4rcus4ur31ius Because your narrow mindedness won't let you accept the fact that when you cover a song, you try to do it in a way that dosen't sound like the original. You don't have to like it as much, or you don't have to like it at all, but as a music lover, you have to give someone a little credit for spinning it a different way. All I was saying was Nataly put a female spin on the song. I'm sure Brad Roberts wouldn't sat she ruined it. Brad is a singer only..Nataly is a musician.
@SuperStrik9 My apologies. My point was people shouldn't bash Nataly just because she found a way to make the song different. She took an awesome song, by an awesome band and did a very good job with it.
@averydeadmule It's all good man. Never heard her version of it, but I agree that if you're gonna cover a song you should make it your own. Recreating the original version is for cover bands.
"Able to leap tall buildings" from the mind of Joe Shuster @ 17years old, the Canadian youngster in 1934 imagined a gangster ridden city of Metropolis, in which, his alter ego Clark Kent would become our super hero.
I heard this song in a record store the other day and I had to hear it again. I figured it was crash test dummies because nobody else sounds like this.
very very melancholy..........a statement about how we all see ourselves & each other play acting out our lives as we think they should be according to what we've been taught & told......so far......
@yaywhewclips242 JD Sumner might be dead but he had the deepest voice of man kind. He was the only backup singer that had a backup choir as Elvis said.
@yaywhewclips242 he's a bass-baritone which is actually slightly HIGHER than a true bass singer. Bass-Baritone sings in the higher range of the bass register and the lower range of the Baritone register. A full out bass singer actually uses the lower ranges of the bass register, it's not all that common, if you compared it to the high end a true Bass singer would be comparable to a true Soprano or castrato (in men). Il Commendatore from Mozart's "Don Giovanni" for example is a low bass role.
