@crazyflew - If you study the history of prostitution , you find that going back into history that certain women became prostitutes. There are prostitutes in the bible , but no mention of pimps , the gals worked alone. Also , back in early america , the prostitution houses were run by women called madams , and not male pimps. Pimps did not come on the scene until the drug era of the sixties and they usually were drug dealers as well as pimps. Almost all prostitutes today are still independent.

The main reason for suicides in porn is because of DRUGS. What porn actors committed suicied and were not on drugs ? The music industry is filled with drug overdoses / suicides so is the gerneral population of drug users. Although I am a christian , I think it is the drugs and not the guilty conscience of porn that causes the suicides. People that are unstable mentally and get a broken heart are way more likely to commit suicide than a person who did porn.

If men didn't invent the porn industry , women would have. It was not men who invented prostitution , but women. There were no such thing as pimps thousands of years ago , yet there were self employed prostitutes everywhere all throughout human history. Samson was ruined by a prostitute , not the other way around. And that was 3 or 4 thousand years ago. There are alot of porn companies that are run by women , but you are not hearing that . Why not ?
