There will be a new update to the pre-release tomorrow or the day after. Hopefully the actual update will come out before the end of the week. Notch and Jeb want to make this update as smooth and nice as possible.

@utubeftwbaby Go to the minecraft forums if you want to download the pre release , download minecraft.jar and put it in you /bin folder and run your client. You also might want to make a backup of your original folder.
