As a nursing student, seeing this demo was very helpful to me. We just covered surgical asepsis, and it's useful to see it used in different situations.
Very good video... May want to have this video as a demo for the agency that I work for. The only thing that I saw was you touched the patient with your left hand while inserting then put the sterile bio patch on.... I usually just touch around the port and not allow my hand to touch the patient...All and all very good
Only thing I would have done differently? Wash my hands again after applying masks to everyone, or at least use the antiseptic hand cleanser. But A+ for great teaching video :D
I've always wondered what they were doing to my duo-port. I have an extreme phobia to needles and invasive procedures, so this is hell, but I'm glad you posted this. Thanks.

1) If the port has Heparin instilled, would you waste the first syringe pull, instead of instilling it back into the port line?
