(altough only seeing him and dancing makes up for it very well ;) ). if you have laryngitis shouldn't you be in bed resting?. i also heard that he was a perfectionist and he obviously couldn't sound like in the 80's maybe that that could be a reason to? peace!

@Tim0693 1 thing that is true is that playback was becoming very popular in pop music those years. MJ was not the 1st nor the last pop artist lip syncing. He was more focused on the whole performance than vocals. Back in DWT and BWT playback was not that popular so that's the top reason why most songs on HWT are playback. Anyway what matters is having a nice time at the concert and believe me few ppl ever have problems with playbacks when they go at concerts (as soon as no malfunctions occur).
