where is the touchscreen from? I plan on doing this in my 04 wrx. Also, did you find a solution for powering down the car and not having to shutdown the computer first? I was thinking using a UPS that has the option to tell the comp to shutdown when external power is lost.

Plan on upgrading to CF 3.1? I run Centrafuse also as my frontend software. @ryankhermraj: the info ont he screen depends on wheich screen you have up. You can do audio, video, gps, car stats (with a hardware additon), phone (bluetooth based) web browser ect. And there are tons of plugin's you can use for more stuff. @stroke and Mad, thats most likely a 7" and he's custom moded the dash panel to put it in there, but you can get them ready to go into a doubleDin dash hole.Check out Centrafuse

Windows 7 is realy badass, you don't have to have a top of the line system to run WIndows 7.. Windows Vista on the other hand, you have to have a top of the line system. Just because something is new doesnt mean it requires more =]

It's on a mac mini, therefore based on the info screen he brought up, it's a 1.83ghz intel core 2 duo, plus whatever specs this had on it at the time...look it up on wiki

hows the audio? did you have to switch out the sound card? if so what kind did you get?
