Toilet paper is not made from old growth forests, it it made from the waste left over after lumber companies cut trees for lumber in the sawmills. This use of the lumber mill waste saves it from the waste stream. People are so uninformed it's ridiculous.

I've worked in the silviculture field and these "evil logging companies" are responsible for the regrowth of areas they cut. I did effectiveness monitoring and the regeneration was very effective. Not to mention the enormous food source they create for ungulates bears and many other animals within the ecosytem.

If greenpeace really wants to make our world a better place they must not boycott K-C but better create pressure on the politicians. If the political class will create laws that will state for example that all toilet paper will have to be made 100% from recycled paper, you must be sure that K-C will use only recycled paper.
