translate da haka into english..not make up your own..get so much videoz with translation..itz da same haka but choke different translation wth?!..try stick to one translation
that's it, i'm goïng to invest in New Zealands economy for thanks to the "haka" they have the spiritual tool to get out of the worldwide economic crisis !
Although the All Blacks playing at home should make your guts tremble too...
The Portuguese national rugby team trained with the Portuguese Comandos for the World Championship, and there were many bruises and injuries to tell about. That's another link between the army and rugby
I cannot believer Nonu bragged about you don't do the Welsh did in front of a Haka, because it's a WAR DANCE it makes his blood pressure high 8-)
and I cannot believe some people felt offended when Clive Woodward consult a Maori tribal chief for an appropriate response.
When NZ played England played NZ, they didn't bother. The fans were siging Swing Low making it as hostile as it could be. Brilliant atmosphere, great for a fan to watch :)
i wish i could see that. I'm not a kiwi, but i was born there and raised till i was 8 then came back to my homeland. i really loved how NZ kept the maori traditions, i've been away for almost 20 years but i remember learning some maori in school and songs, and on the tv there was children show called 'after school' i think and it was teaching various maori songs. I also remember saying 'kiora' as 'hi'. or something like that. They respect the native traditions unlike US towards native americans.
ForumMusical...thank you very much for posting this vid. Please to see the rise of a culture that has been waiting patiently for their time to share. Muy Bueno hermanos y hermanas. GRANDE! Kansas City, MO. (USA) Mama Silk
"muy bueno hermanos y hermanas. grande!" - Sorry, but that is Spanish; the Açores islands are part of Portugal (since the 1400's, when they were discovered) and people there speak Portuguese, which is quite different: "Muito bom, irmãos e irmãs. Bestial!" Would be the appropriate translation.
So cool...wish I had Maori roots =/. Still proud of mine tho :D. Gah so many native cultures 0_0 I want to learn about all of them :o. But I don't want to be stuck in college for like 8years xD.
I think this is really great. The power, respect, tradition, prayer...everything about it. Just amazing. It sounds so powerful when spoken in the native tongue, especially when it's so in-your-face. You know? Amazing. I want to watch a haka in person quite badly now!
Está muito bom! Conheci o haka recentemente e é engraçado que a primeira coisa que eu pensei foi "Isto deve ser giro para ensinar às crianças"...Espírito de professor é mesmo assim:)
I was so empowered after this.
I grabbed my bone club and smashed the neighbors head in and ate him for MANA!!!

"We are the All Blacks, of the New Zealand people."
"We stand on this field arrayed for battle."
"At our backs we feel the might of tradition wrought by those who have gone before."
"Over our hearts we bear the Silver Fern, emblem of mana to die for."
"This challenge is now thrown out to you. Take it if you dare for we will not withold ourselves this day and the faint of heart will surely be lost."
