This song brings back so many memories of a love lost for me. I played this song for about 6 months straight after he left. Some 10 plus years later and my feelings are just as strong since he walked out the door.
@stlblackboy I had that happened to me too back in 1997 and i too played the heck of this song after he left,, and now after15 years i still feel a little something for him...
Esta música me faz lembrar dos tempos atrás ... tempos a qual se passaram e não voltam mais ... TE AMO PRA SEMPRE.QUEM SABE UM DIA VOLTE mas talvez eu não estarei com este bem querer todo pra vc.
@AJHCA1 Move over now! (Dances onto the stage)....used to dance my ass off at Woody's in Philly with this jam, all the gay men used to crowd the floor when this came on!
This Song Came Out In The Late 90's I Know For A Fact Cause I Worked At This Gay Club At The Time, And Boy Was It as Awesome Then As It Still Is Now. 2 Thumbs Up
Arista Records had some really great artists are the time this came out, Whitney dance, Deborah etc, the all seemed to more or less disappear that's so sad, I loved spinning this music it was a great joy to see my boys dancing to this
this track has something speial...this kind of "uplifting" cosntruction which takes place around 4 minutes is absolutely incredible...it´s not finded easily at the dance of 90's.
Well my first ever trip to the USA and that was still being played in the clubs in 1999 and i just loved it i got really into Hex Hectors mixes and had most of them on my hard drive and the bloody thing broke down on me....im still trying to get them back on hard copy (orginal cds /vinyl ) but there very rare now(:(
just a brilliant remixer of many great dance tracks
hex hector, victor calderon, danny tenaglia, peter rauopher, susan morabito, junior vasquez, ,,,crystal and extasy were the best back in 1997 to 2000, such a nice memmories in twilo and roxy....
than Deborah Cox's Nobody Supposed to Be Here was the biggest club spin of 1998 the following year remixed by the same guy Hex Hector. I remember tweaking to this song at clubs. The good old days.
this song is one of the best dance mixes out there....this mix was hot....the song started taking me out of this world in the breakdown from 4:54 then the bongos at 5:00 took it to another level then her chanting NO NOT NO NOT while the beat filled was brilliant...trip on this song while your feeling nice and I swear you'd hallucinate and find yourself in Shangrila! Wherever you are play this song and you'll be dancing! Hex Hector is genious...no doubt.
@Tonster1998 i agree the late 90's and early 2000's were the good old days, but ralphi rosario and tony moran are still giving it to us! tony's new album, Mix Magic Music, has new dance anthems like "Tenderness" by Deborah Cox, "Magic" by Jennifer holliday and lots more! check it out on itunes, amazon and juno
damn all clubs played this song.. even clubs that didn't play mainstream vocals even played this song back 1997 to 1998. I remember tweaking to E while dancing to this song. The good old days.
This brings back so many memories i can't wait to relive them when she comes to Aus and perform at the Say Cheese dance party in less than 2 weeks very excited :-)
OmG Toni Braxtons's Unbreak My Heart was a massive club anthem and this came out a year later. Clubs everywhere played this song. Even clubs that didn't play mainstream mixes played this mix. The circuit party days dancing to this song.
@clubbshaker no the mainstream songs of beginning in 1996 started to get updated remixed versions at clubs begining with Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart by Hex Hector. After that alot of remixers mixed great songs. B4 1996, songs that were remixed sucked. Soon we had Thunderpuss, Victor Caldorone, Soul Solution, Tony Moron.
@domn1c i agree but there are still some people like ralphi rosario and tony moran giving it to us! tony's new album, Mix Magic Music, has new deborah cox "tenderness" and lots of other dance diva anthems! check it out on itunes
Black & Blue, Montreal, Feb, 1999... underage even in Canada. She wore a blue gown that slit up the side of her right leg, going from Midnight to Cobalt to almost white, and looked like a goddess. 70,000 people all sang in harmony.. "saw you the other day". I have never felt so attuned with everyone else around me. It was magic. It was utopian. It was bliss! Thank you for allowing me to feel such happiness. I love you... all of you! Thank you.
This is absolutely hands down THE BEST remix of this song. Wow, what memories. Best years of my life (LOL) dancing my A** off at the clubs to this song and other great mixes. I looked for this version just this past summer and was shocked & sad no one had it...Thank u for posting . :)
LOL...I am afraid in 1997 it was the gay clubs who played the big anthems first. It was our purchasing power who made a few artists big. Str8 folks later bought into house music long after we shaped this sound in the black ghettos of NYC, London and Chicago/ Detroit.
Outstanding remix!
