It's not sword art though but still :) Btw do you got an copy of this video without the hang time of the picture effect? Would love to see what you are actuly doing with the sword in specific details :)
Are you trying to become the worlds greatest swordsman or something like that lol? Thats my goal, in actuality there's no such thing i believe, but i think striving for it is the goal. I watch you demonstrate your proficiency and to be honest, im jealous, you inspire me to practice more to become better with the blade...Good job man!
@TPRoach I was in Tikrit, Iraq for 7 months Saddams hometown and I think everytime I had downtime I watched one of your videos. I got the song too and the live concert dvd the lyrics fit the song well excellant work. You make me want to relocate to EU to train more I swing nunchanku for close to 6 years now but I dabble with my bokken.
@whitedog86 - Thank you for the kind words whitedog86, and thanks 'from everyone' for your courage and service over in Iraq. It seems insane that you were able to watch this while in such a dangerous place. I have friends there now. We owe you boys a lot. Keep dabbling with the bokken and take care mate :)

When you do one handed spins, are you rolling the sword's handle over and around your whole hand or spinning it through each individual finger? Kind of like a drum stick/baton.
I enjoy your fluidity with the blade, but I offer little constructive criticism. Your body demonstrates a little rigidness in the joints as you transition from resting posture to movement & vice-versa. Try to be conscious of breathing changes that happen w/ these transitions. It will give your strikes more power, increase stamina & overall health of the body. I respect your continued development & look forward to your videos. Thanks.
What effect is this? Id like to use it for one of my videos if thats ok? Anyways Still remains one of my favorite Videos. Your so inspiring brother. Thanks for posting and keep posting!
stop giving the thumb down to otero81,: any message that ends in "much honor" should be taken into consideration... really now, just post an opposing message if you will. it's just an opinion, and it IS expressed in a civilized way.
How much does your sword weigh? I'm currently practicing with a 2lbs 3.3 ft length piece of bamboo stick. I should post a vid up if I get the chance. Rage doesn't work for me, I tried it before but you get to tense in every sense and lose dynamism in the process. There's a way to focus deep into your movements where you don't even realize you're moving anymore, but the sword and you are just in the highest natural state of expressive combat.
i disagree with the poster bellow- they are not flashy moves-they look great to the eye thats for sure-but what is observed is your ability of mind and how you create with it- its deep and thoughtfull! i have long ways to go in my own explorations!
Roach! ur great but those flashy moves can only go so far. no disrespect but u need to show more vids of u and ur friends sparring with eachother. Much honor.
you are amazing brother- man its been almost half a year sense i have filmed somthing personal and expressive- i will soon- watching this vid really shows how expressive you are with the sword and your mind-love it man
I rather enjoyed the video effects, and the scenery. Good Job! The dog at the end was funny as well! My only small criticism would be the costumes. A bit mismatched for my tastes.
sweet i always like your videos so few people who are actually good post videos. my friend zach is using me and my friend jeff to make a short sword fight thing some tiem this week i'll post it up on here when its finished check it out tell me what you think.
Dunno what you were raging about, but it shows! You can actually see a difference in your movements...less fluid, more power. Interesting...you hesitate a bit at certian times too. Good show, bro! well made!
filmed and edited this in about 10 minutes when i was having a bad day :( smudged myself in annoyance. Didnt post this for ages, got all angry with everything swordwise.
Awesome m8, you should check out mine :)

Hey, new vid!!! lol
Very nicely edited, the effects really reflect how angry you must've been that day...the smudges blur your movements, which is lush
The song's some live rammstein...a good choice, I must admit. Compliments the vid rather well.
And trying to maintain control under rage in something that is immensly difficult. I hope that you have not lost yourself to your rage yet....
