This is a lullaby? Don't get me wrong, I like this song, but did is it really called "lullaby"? I'd rather listen to this as I woke up. (Happy thought^^)
although i have to agree.......this song is peacfull......theres somthing about it that makes me want to cry.......but i dont know what it is exactly.....
I didn't take offense, and I LOVE Origa. o.o I understood the joke, so no worries! ^.^ She does speak her own language sometimes. =D And it's still beautiful.
The song is very beautiful but if I ever gonna see a good song ruined by a Kingdom Hearts or Naruto AMV I am gonna batshit crazy. Seriously this game with its neat animu styled figures and kawaii ^_^ disney figures is like for ten year olds. Every sane person should know that Kindom Hearts is nothing more than an effort of Square to make more monney.
Or is it just a coincidence that most characters of sucessfull FF games are blindly thrown together without being important for the story line

She just repeats "Go away, Lullaby. Don't. Go away. Lullaby. Don't give me the melodies of lies ... No, no more lies." over, and over again. Her other songs are all in german/japanese/english, repeating the same thing, But in different languages. And it is true that when all this fails, she may resort to gibberish. Simple.
Actually, it is "gibberish." Most of the song is just a bunch of sylables thrown together, something that Origa does a lot. Part of the song is in English.
ZachzAnomaly? I have no idea where you got your facts from, but you are wrong. She has actually SAID that when she comes up with a song, she goes with the tune and beat; not the words. She sings in her own language that she and Yoko Kanno made; not an odd version of russian, japanese, english or italian. Sure, part of the song is in english (Obviously) But the rest is said made up language. I'm serious too, darling; Your comment was FALSE.
In several of her other songs, she sings from english, to german, to japanese, AND back again. And listen, she's speaking clear english to me through most of this song.
Listen closely. It's all English. She just speaks in a strange accent like with 'Marisa Stole that precious thing.' It's English. It's just mostly said wrong, and sounds gibberish. Who cares? It's a good song, and I understand it well if I stop yapping long enough to hear the words. I'm serious, people.
correct me here if i'm mistaken, but imo double negatives are correct in most languages (at keast the ones i speak).... mostly slang, but correct in emphasizing the negative... so, it's half-corect, let's leave it at that.
well, who never sang giberish when ya're young and u haven't memorized nor understand the lyrics? or when your old and alzeimer got the best of u while singing in the shower? And often don u find that the nonessense you're babbling sounds better than actual words?? hihihi
Uhm,....no sorry. She and Yoko Kanno have this made up language that she has stated to sing in. She comes up with the melody and tune first, then sings in her language for a while before coming up with actual words.
No, the lyrics are not in Russian, it really is a bunch of gibberish because I'm Ukrainian and I speak English, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian, some Hungarian, and some Korean.
Well, according to the lyrics in the song book, the only words are "Go away...lullaby...don't give me no melodies of lies...no, no more lies."
I personally think that the lyrics that are not listed are in Russian, not gibberish, but I don't speak or understand Russian, so don't wuote me on that.
If you really want to find the rest of the lyrics, I suggest searching on the internet long and hard for them.
Yuki Kajiura is also a singer who makes up words for her songs. I don't think they're as extensive as Origa's and Kanno's, but they're gibberish nonetheless. Anyway, I love this song even it contradicts itself ("doN'T give me NO more lies...no, no more lies"). Double negatives are fun, as is laughing at people when they do it and doing what they grammatically were telling you to do.
I know Yuki does that too. I'm a huge fan of hers. My point is, though, Yuki didn't do this, it was Yoko (and ORIGA, of course). I happen to enjoy the whole gibberish thing. It adds a little variety to the music.
Origa's known for singing in English, Japanese, and Russian, often two at once. It sounds like this could easily be a mixture of Russian and English, like Inner Universe, although the "papapa" part sounds something like gibberish (could be repetition, e.g. "say-ay-ay").
If you're fluent in Russian, then I concede everything. But if you're not, please realize with Origa it's not that cut and dry, and there's no reason to go name-calling.
That would lull me to sleep any day. The music sung by Origa is so enchanting! Thank you for the music! (And yes, Sora, perhaps a lttle bizzare, but you know you liked it!) FIVE OUT OF FIVE!
"па па па!" XD потрясающе!

Lullaby

And by the way, Tim Jensen wrote the lyrics to this song. So lay off of Origa, she is a wonderful writer.

Yuki Kajiura? Don't you mean Yoko Kanno? And neither of them are producers, they are both composers...
Anyways, it could be Russian or gibberish. Me not knowing Russian, would not be able to tell for sure, however.
