It would never work. In addition to the fact that cell phones do not emit any sort of radiation which affects matter, two cell phones next to each other do not even directly have any sort of wireless signal connecting them. It is always routed through a cell tower or satellite first.

The kernel of a popcorn contains a certain amount of oil and moisture (like water) both the moisture and the oil has to get to the boiling point before the kernel pops, no phone can make that kind of heat, else you will be able to get burns from using your phone...

It won't work to pop Popcorn with cellphones. Popcorn needs about 120°C to pop. You cannot reach temperatures like that with Mobile Phones! Here in Germany there's a Show called Galileo and they tried to cook an egg with 100 cell phones and nothing happened. They even put in in Front of the strongest and biggest antenna for mobile phone connections and nothing was the effect XD
