  • Can you make a video over the past? How your skin was before, and how it is now? That would be awesome, maybe if you could say witch products that have worked for you. :-) ! (sorry for bad english)

  • I am 10 and in the fourth grade.I started getting acne in the second grade and I have always been physically bigger. My mom thinks it is because I am hormonal. My acne is just little pimples but i do have a decent amount and back in the second grade it use to be like two or three huge ones.

  • tank you this video help me a lot since I was 12 years suffer from acne and you are right with the face like that you don't wanna go anywhere because people madefun of me but I I have 20 year know and learn to love me myself . but sometimes i get sad and you video help me to stand up and continue to live this life tanks

  • She reminds me of Elizabeth Berkeley from Saved By The Bell.

  • O.o that's definetly the biggest info tab iv'e ever expanded.

  • I have cystic acne, I have been struggling with acne for 5 years (im 16) I went to the dermatologist when I was 13 and he gave me retinal and an antibiotic cream. I no longer have whiteheads or regular acne, I only have a few cystic acne pimples now. This video helped a lot! thanks!

  • PCOS definitely causes cystic acne.

  • YOU ARE MY HERO!

  • I got a problem. When i don't smoke Cannabis i got these mother-fucker breakouts but when i smoke Cannabis my skin is like heaven. :P

  • @Krillah2008 i think that maybe your acne is caused by stress then... because cannabis decreases stress... i don't think the drugs themselves are helping your skin...

  • she HAD it bad

  • she has it bad

  • Im so happy for you. nobody deserves acne, especially like you had!

  • When I was in middle school I struggled with acne for a terrible three to four years. I was so insecure and embarassed. I wore makeup all the time. I was afraid to sleep over at peoples houses because they would have to see me in the morning...When I got into highschool my acne slowed down , my main area was my cheek bones and nose. I'm seventeen and I'm confused at what type of acne I have now. , What I see is mostly scaring. Could you do a video explaining scaring?

  • By the way, thank you SO much for sharing this with everyone. I know being seen without your makeup was probably hard for you but you are a CHAMP! I only pray my children will grow up to be wise, positive, helpful, beautiful (ESP on the inside!!!) and classy as YOU are sweetheart!

  • You are precious! I'm fixing to be 31, have 3 small kids (8, 4, & 19 months) & recently started having awful adult acne. I have VERY oily skin but the last few months my face has been covered with acne! Ive always had break outs here & there thru the yrs but nothing like this. You inspired me to buy all new make up, brushes, etc. and tried to recreate your foundation routine as best as possible & now with your help you can barely see it! You're a DOLL :)

  • I've had cystic on my shoulders for years and I've always been self-conscious about it- especially in the summer! I went to the dermatologist a few years ago and they said I would have to go on accutane, which I DO NOT want to do, SO I haven't really known what to do since then. This video was really helpful- thank you!

  • I had cystic acne for awhile...i went on accutane and i know it has bad side effects but i worked like magic

  • Damnit. Of course I'm the exception... Thanks for your r help anyways!!!

  • VOCÊ É LINDA PRA CARALHO, PRA CARALHO.

  • @valc0cain Não use linguagem ruim, porque você acha que as pessoas não entendem...

  • Sorry. Had to go clean my face :x.

  • Wow, you're pretty.

  • I'm probably not the first to say this, but you look a bit like Elizabeth Berkley from Saved By The Bell. :)

  • Kitty cat is completely video bombing your video. :)

Other than that, really good informational story and you're easy to listen to.

  • Wow it's really great of you to show your face to the world and tell everyone about how you as a model have cystic acne and are fighting it and trying to help others do the same!!! You're great!!!

  • Hey, im 13 and i have acne, and i have had it for about 2-3 years i think, i went to my docter last year, and he gave me Clindoxyl it help me so much, but i have some scares. It dosn´t hurt annymore, but it did relly hurt, i cryed so manny times becuz of it hurt so much. My doctor sayd that milk producs was bad for my skin, and that i suld only drink one glas of milk a day.

i hope that i help you some how :)

  • Lol your so funny

  • @ LaSage1994 please don't say "accutane sucks" I realize some people have bad experiences such as you but it cleared my acne, just state it didn't work for you please(:

  • ur kitty is so distracting in the background! i'm tryin to concentrate on what ur sayin, but that dude is juz too cuteee to ignore!! :P & thank you for a very informative vid on cystic acne. although i don't have it, i'm sure i'll be able to help someone else who have it. :D x

  • i am glad i ran into ur videos i am sufferring of cystic acne as well n it was worse the inly thing is that its a long process n sacrafiying. i just wish this gets over soon.... its not fun : (

  • :'''''(

  • I have cystic acne...it hurts, but my doctor prescribed some medicine and this cream stuff. It has helped a lot. If you have really bad acne you should see a doctor. Trust me it helps.

  • Thanks so much for your videos!!! Idk what I would do without them! I can honestly say that acne has RAVAGED my face. I've been on Accutane for close to 5 months and I couldn't do the round correctly because the 40 mg had me writhing in pain. And I'm STILL on it. I'm desperate. I have HORRIBLE cystic acne from the nose down. It's done a number on my face, and the scarring is soooo bad. I'm really starting to lose hope.Your videos always cheer me up though, so thank you!! :D

  • i'm currently having a very serious cystic acnes after using amway artistry products ........ hope it'll get well soon ~~~ thanks for your informations ^^

  • Accutane sucks dick. I took it for a month and I got stomach pains that put me on the floor for 3 hours screaming in pain.

    It's fucked.

  • i love your videos!! its great that you can come out here and show your face to the world :) its nice to know that theres ppl like you that many ppl can relate thanks for all your videos!!

  • I have some cystic acne on my neck and I think it's so brave of you to come on camera and basically say "FUCK YOU" to cystic acne and try to help people. What works for me is using Stridex pads on my effected areas and moisturizing with aloe vera. I never would've thought that the two would be a great mix but they are. The aloe vera eliminates ALL shine from my face while helping to moisturize, and I'm the most oily person on the Earth. Drinking a lot of water also contributes to better skin.

  • can you only get accutane in the USA ??

  • Good video! My coworker also had alot of acne but when i met her after the holiday breaks her face was completely acne pimples free! when I asked her she told me she used a natural acne treatment method known as: Acne 404 Nuke i don't know the website but just google it.

  • Oh god, my skin used to be really bad. A bit like what you are describing. I didn't know that, thank you.

  • very educational... :)

  • if i had acne i wouldn't cover it up because thats who i am and if people don't like it then they can go bugger off

  • you're pretty! wanna go on a date:)?

  • Thank you so much for doing this video! It helped me so much!

  • Your hair is SOOO gorgeous. Do you curl it?

  • thx for sharing this... this really helps me about these cystic acne ... >.<

  • i watched from beginning to end.

  • you should be a dermatologist :)

    Thanks for this!

  • @keziandrada you should be a useless motherfucker.

  • @testsubjectzz okay?

  • Two other things really exacerbated my acne in the past - a hot humid climate (when I was living overseas) and some steroid medication I was on for a chronic illness of mine. Also not counting picking I'm a chronic face-toucher! I rub my face all the time. I think certain face-washes tend to irritate sensitive skin and make acne worse. Bleaching all your face-clothes to make sure there's no bacteria helps. Washing my face with my bare hands just mixes in oil.

  • And I sooooo know what you mean by stress release and picking. Sometimes I just feel like I need to do it! I tend to switch off between picking and compulsive scratching... I find wearing makeup helps me stop picking because I don't want to mess up my makeup. Also just avoiding mirrors. As soon as I see myself in the mirror I want to pick.

  • I definitely think it's hormones and stress, for me at least. My acne stopped when I graduated from high school and was completely gone for a year before I started university, when it started up again worse than ever. (University= mega stress). Birth control also keeps my acne way down - I think that's the hormonal change. I've heard acne tends to be testosterone-related - that's why men get it worse than women. Birth control also lowers your testosterone (which is why it lowers libido too).

  • you looked like Taylor swift on the beginning of the video! :D

  • oh ya you should talk about accutane in a video because so many people watch your sweet videos!

  • l am on accutane and it is amazing what it can do, you probably have heard of it but if not talk to your dermatologist! l am doing a video diary of my days going through it and talking about it!

  • try the Perricone prescription - he recommends salmon and lots of it - I tried it - yes it's expensive, but after 5 days, my skin was smooth, glowing and the redness and spots had really calmed down. I've had clear skin my whole life and developed zits in my thirties after having my son! :(

  • i have white heads and black heads type of acne. and always 1 or 2 big ass cystic ones -.-. my back is covers in black heads and white heads and my chest a little. its desusting because people relate it to dirty skin etc.I am one of the most hygienic people in the world.I cant cure it for my life :S just hoping when i'm 20 it will start to calm down! can someone reaasure me it will because i don't want it any longer than that.My auntie had cystic acne and it didnt go until she was 30! info any1?

  • @littlemonster10000 I do believe some acne can cure itself over time. My acne (which sounds similar to yours) has calmed down a lot from when I was 13 and I'm not 18. Of course, using exfoliaters and other skin care products won't hurt. Unfortunately, I still have acne. But, it's a lot better. I barely get acne on my back. And I rarely get a bump on my chest anymore. Just remember to stay clean! Try different products. I have recently started using a Nuetrogena Acne kit and it works great.

  • Eating healthy has helped with my acne. I get the non ones, which hurt, and they tend to leave scars. I don't get them that much, but when I do it's horrible. :P

  • @LiveLavaLiveisloveee ehhh those suck

  • the sweet kitten in the back at 3:50 omg! <3<3

  • you look like a sexy twilight vampire in this vid (that's my butt-smooching way of saying you look super-pale:D) you look kinda sick:( but still sexxy! :D

  • You are beautiful! I'm loving your hair too! Is it naturally curly?

  • i had really bad cyctic acne but over the years, its getting better (:

  • Just one thing: Women can get acne from cysts on their ovaries. If nothing else works then consulting a gynecologist might be the key.

  • You have the most beautiful eyes I ever saw...

  • A good friend had a bout with cystic acne a few years ago. She had been acne free all her youth and teen years and suddenly at 20somes she got horrid acne. After a few months fighting it, she went to a homeopathic doctor who told her she had some sort of Insuline imbalance (i think) and sent her a VERY strict diet (like you will eat 5 almonds and only five almonds between 3 pm and 5 pm, stuff like that). Her acne cleared up in about a month or two her face was completely cleared up.

  • you are an amazing girl.

  • I have acne on my back but not big cysts or anything... I probably just need to wash my sheets more.

  • is cystic acne genetic?

  • I had perfect skin up until about 2 years ago. I started to get cystic acne on my chin only. It was very painful and embarrassing. So I did some research and read many reviews and found out that taking about 3000 mg of vitamin c along with using Apple cider vinegar as a toner (only on the affected area) will clear it up. Sure enough it has worked for me. Yes the smell is awful but it works and I don't have to take a medication. This might not work for everyone but its worth a try.

  • @rambobmr can the body absorb all the 3000mg of vit.c? I heard that amounts more than 200mg will just be excreted from the body. So won't it be a waste?

  • omg! that kitty is so cute! it's playing around so much lol

  • HOW TO: CURE ACNE!!!! - CLEAR SKIN IN ONE WEEK by gossmakeupartist

  • Thank you so much!!

  • you shoud do accutane. I did it and it changed my life; I am more confident and I am not afraid to look at someone's face.

I tried for like 10 years with antibiotics, creams, water, a lot of type of alternative medicine and nothing worked. I bought foundations like MUFE, MAC or whatever and it got worse, make up couldn't even cover it anymore.

  • I started having acne at age 32, and it has gotten progressively worse over the past 5 years. I stopped leaving the house, I stopped seeing my friends. I go for weeks without leaving the house. I don't want anyone to see me. My makeup doesn't help, it just makes it stand out more it seems. You are wonderful and brave! Thank you so much for your videos! It at least makes me feel a little better even if I can't seem to get the makeup right to cover the acne.

  • 3:45 your cat <3 ;)

  • Cassandra, I so get you! I've been dropping out of school because of acne. I never go out of my house without foundation, I never go out of my room. I've been so depressed about this, to the point that I feel like dirt. People just don't get it when they don't have acne. If it'll make anyone feel better, I've been struggling with this for almost 7 years now, and I still am! I'm now using something, and my skin's better now. But it's really drying out my skin, so I still don't go outside. Lol! :P

  • I am fortunate to just have regular acne. I tend to get it on my forehead.

What really helped me was Dr. Brandt products. I bought the cleanser that came with sample products. I wash my face with Clean and Clear cleanser and then the Dr. Brandt cleanser. I then use the Clean and Clear moisturizer and then I apply the Dr. Brandt pore refiner and then the C&C moisturizer again.

My face looks and feel so much clearer.

  • your just soooo gorgeous!

  • clinique's 3 step programme gave me enormous cystic acne for the few months i was using it. i thought it was from dairy and cut it out but i realized it was the clinique skincare. now i'm left with about 50 pink scars around my jaw. it use to be bright red.

  • I had cystic acne like that on my back and chest for three years. I had severe acne on my tzone area as well, mostly on my forehead, but it wasn't cystic luckily(no offense). I had finally asked my mum to take my to the doctors to get medication for it. I had tubes of a variety of medications and my skin was extremely dry for months.I was in highschool and was really embarassing to walk around with my skin peeling off so in between my classes i had to go to the washroom and rub of dead skin lol

  • LMFAO Ohh YEAHHH

  • okayyy i just got 4 huge!! hard zits cant pop them ughhh i got them out of no where like a day ago 15 year old boy ughhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I don't have acne but I'm watching this anyway.

  • @raiNwAter8690 youre soooooo lucky lol

  • why are you against accutane?

  • i swear to god i am so in love with you

  • thank very much

  • yup.. i have acnes. not like really bad ,but when i dont have some foundation on, i will be nervous when i talk to people. But now i am trying to not put make on but still feel okay with my self. and its working! i am happy:) thank you for this video. <3

anyways i have a question: Since the oil on my skin might be why i have acnes. So i am using products that makes my skin dry and prevent the oil (its actually the acne treatment set from clinque) but is it good to remove all the oil from face?

  • I love that you're so positive. You look absolutely beautiful.

  • So sad to hear that you people in the united states can't trust your doctors!!

  • Have you tried Spironolactone? It is not an antibiotc, but a medication used for several purposes, one thing that it does is help to control aldosterone, a naturally occuring hormone in our bodies that can cause cystic acne. It has worked wonders for my cystic acne. I also started using Aczone, which worked much better than BenzaClin!

  • you remind me A LOT of alessansdra ambrosio

  • You are breathtakingly beautiful!

  • my biggest problem is my skin is sooo dry all the timee. I use proactive refining mask when i have problem areas, it makes the blemishes disappear extremely fast, but then im left with blochiness and dryness, i use it considerably, however my nose is very dry no matter what and it doesn't seem to matter how much i exfoliate.

  • @leetledanigirl yeah that will happen when i 1st stated using Proactive or Benzo Peroxide my face was super dry and scaley, But my skin got used to it, and I literally moisturize my skin with that stuff 3 nites a week to disinfect my pores, havent had a break out in months. I use Cetpahil Ultra Hydrating Lotion for senstive skin, thats great stuff, dont exfolate, use a really gentle cleansor, exfolate maybe once a week

  • @jiller777 i try not to use proactive, just the mask, i used it a lot when i was in junior high, but it left me with these weird rashes on my face and i couldn't even do it, between looking like a weird dalmation and having to cake a tonn of cover up over it just to look normal, i stopped using it. But i notice no matter how much i moisturize my face is STILL dry in spots. And if i get thick lotions, it makes me break out in the spots that arent dry, its a constant battle.

  • @3:45 a wild kitten appears!

  • i love u. and ur pretty lol

  • for my cysts, my dermatologist actually injects them with something to kill the bacteria inside. It really works well =]

  • warning! DO NOT EAT WHILE WATCHING THIS VIDEO

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It really gave me some good groundwork to take to my dermatologist. Your videos on acne and make up (especially how to cover acne!) are life-savers. Thank you for everything you do!

  • sorry if you have already mentioned this, but why did you not go on accutane? i know you can get depressed etc and its a big deal so for you was accutane not worth it? but thank you so much for these videos, i have literally went through them all adding them to my favorites <3

  • Yeah, its bad stuff lol. A couple years ago I had it so bad along my jaw..looked like I had a big red beared, it was infected and terrible :/ I had to take antibiatocs for my skin, wasnt fun. Now my skin is cleared up a lot, still get them a little on my cheeks or chin, but no where near as bad at before. It was just gross...

  • I love uuu :) Kisses from Italy

  • you look like taylor swift you are gorgeous and i love your eyes

  • You are really an inspiration. I had terrible acne in high school. I'm not sure if it was cystic, but it was pretty medium to severe acne. All throughout high school, I tried several treatments and nothing seemed to work. I had no confidence and felt like I was the only one at my school with embarrassing skin. My skin only started clearing up about 1 year ago when I was 19. I still struggle a lot with my skin though. watching your videos just makes me feel like someone else out there understands

  • teh cat background

  • I get scars sometimes and those severe blackheads on the nose and chin.....but i do get those painful ones often

  • HOW DO YOU CURE THE CYSTIC ACNE? :/

  • Comment removed

  • Cat in the background at 3:43!!

  • thumbs up for the adorable kitten :D

  • i have a couple on my right cheek and its been there for like 3 MONTHS!! Im breaking out really bad right now :/ no offense and everything but it's kinda like your face that you had in the beginning but a little less worse I guess and I've been getting laser treatments and everything so now I have to be on antibiotics :/ this is crazy

  • OMG You're so beautiful, love your eyes :)

So what did you do to get rid of the acne?

sorry about my english, I don't know if I typed it correctly

  • I remember when I was little about 12 I had 2 lumps either side of my mouth and they were rock hard size of a 5p and came off my skin about a cm they were super sore just showed up over night, they were not red or anything just sore. I slit them with a razor blade in the bath and give em a good squeeze and it popped out hit the mirror. Was sooooo satisfying. They never came back again. Im not recommending this at all though lol, I was 12 and thick!! ha

  • fml i've got a cyst on my forehead right now

  • I like how you do your research before you speak, some gurus don't seem to do so! :)

  • You are totally right about the doctor thing, I've thought that for years! That's why I'm a supporter of holistic health...natural cures cannot be patented or abused by pharmaceutical companies. I've been using unfilitered organic apple cider vinegar to cure my acne. For the scarring nothing works better than aloe vera gel fresh from the plant! A popular scar medication Mederma is over 30 dollars and the main ingredient is aloe vera gel! You can get your own plant at Lowes for 10 bucks or less.

  • SHE IS SO RIGHT!!..

  • she is rght its eithr gluten containg food or dairy products that people are sensetive to and they don't even know it just try to stop eating that food for two weeks and see if you stop breaking out if no maybe its because your stressd

  • Awesome video!!! I really wish I saw this in highschool. Now my skin is a lot better, but still not perfect. I hope to one day, be as good as you are with skin care. Thank you.

    Angie

  • Definitely had bouts with nodular cystic acne in my adult life... the only thing that has helped is diet change, apple cider vinegar toner, and taking time cleansing my skin with seaweed based cleanser. Meditation, and self care and managing stress... best of luck!

  • When I went to my derma-doc today I found out one of my zits is cystic. He suggested a cortisone shot, then he gave me a prescription topical cream instead. Twice a day from today, fingers crossed. I don't want a scar :(

  • thank you so much I've been having this massive problem, I didn't even know what type of acne I was having not going to touch them anymore

  • we love you to !!! :)

  • You are an amazing person! I don't say this very often, but I really have a huge respect for you and my admiration is increasing with every video I am watching :)

Don't wanna sound creepy but I would like to give you a hug :)

    Irina <3

  • Great Information, thank you!

  • I get cystic acne, around my chin area and I would pop it and it would turn into a scab and then maybe into a scar depending how severe it was.One thing that would kind of make it smaller for me is that I would get a cotton ball and fill it with either an acne cleanser/wash and pour water on the cotton ball with the cleanser and put it towards the cystic. Is that good or bad for you're skin? I've been doing it lately.Btw,you are brave.I am going through all of this and I am so depressed about me

  • @CynthiaaTBG12 if it has broken the skin it should be fine. I mean it's good that you're using cotton balls (dirt and oils from hand onto face = not good) but it really depends on the product you're using. I know a lot of the cheaper face creams can have like SLS (Sodium Lauryl Suflate) and harsh detergents which clean up the skin and create the good clean feeling but actually wear away the skin and make it more vulnerable. But they might be all you need, whatever's best for you.

  • When I break out , it looks like a HUGE mosquito bite and it stays like that for a while . Then it separates into very tiny pimples , but the next day it looks like a mosquito bite again . It's really confusing . $:

  • @LiliMara75 It sounds to me like allergy much more than a pimple. you might allergic to something, should check with doctor asap.

  • it's acne scarRing not scaring!

  • your cat is sooo cute!!! great video btw..:)

  • I am seriously in love with your videos :D You're so real and down to earth, not to mention extremely knowledgeable about acne!

  • @arigato22 I have suffered from the same kind of acne (never forms a head) very painful. I have tried everything over the counter I even tried antibiotics & birth control which worked but not good for u. Then a friend told me about Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg. So I gave it a try and within a month I went from having 16 cystic zits on my face and jaw line to a smooth complexion. Do ur research on this product before you continue on Roaccutane (which does more long term harm than good).

  • @DiamondsAndHeels14 I love you! lol I'm also the one suffering with cystic acne for 13-14 years already..lucky me that Isotretinoin Acetonide works for me and it's the only medication and treatment that works for me.Only concern is that i take that medicine for so long..as you know this kind of medicine is very dangerous and has a lot of side effects oh well.. but i'm still alright though.. Cheers : )

  • @inthebluesky1 I have suffered from the same kind of acne (never forms a head) very painful. • @mellado36 Thanks. I'm thinking to try evening primrose oil as well.I'll see if it can help..

  • hi! i love your videos! i hope you see this so you can answer a few questions i have! i have really bad acne and i have these red marks left behind by them and it doesnt look like you do! have you ever had red marks left behind my acne? if so how did you make them go away?? i hate them!! also is your hair naturally that wavy?? its so beautiful!

  • Pro-pee-on-oh-bac-tear-ee-um ack-knees.

  • cat partying in the background

  • I really like how you describe everything without being grossed out! most girls are just pathetic when it comes to that..

  • your description of popping the pimples scares me.

    never. again.

  • I grew up with severe nodules (17-24), and to everyone watching this, I promise it gets better! Mine were just as severe as this beautiful girl talking about them! Keep your heads up and even if you try 100 different meds/creams, you WILL find something that works!

  • "So Yes It Has Gotten a Little Bit Better Since Then But That Isss--

    Is That a Cat.? 0.o"

    Lmao iLoved That Part(;

  • Please become a dermatologist!

  • you are a hero to me cassie :) you saved me and helped me a lot >:D< love you!!

  • I tend to only get cystic acne now! I rarely every get any type of spot, and it's really aggravating because nothing seems to work. I'm sure mine are nodular, they feel and look like mosquito bites then after a while they soften up. I break out a LOT after stress, but no matter what I eat I find that my skin remains the same.

  • I have cystic acne on my back and neck. I've had it before a couple of years ago but by taking antibiotics for a year they went away for about 5. Now they've come back uhh! I already have my derotologist apointment. I'm 16 btw.
