Sterelisation should be used on pedophiles who rape children if it can be proved beyond doubt that the individual is guilty. Drugs should also be used on the pedophiles to reduce their sex drive.

This is one of the so few reasons I show my respect towards Poland. This law should be adopted by other countries as well. And believe me after 2 weeks, sexual crime rates will go beyond the illiteracy of a typical idiot.

This wont prevent offences by new offenders but it will give past offenders a real chance at life without deviant thinking

Physical castration is VERY effective. Pedophiles are very likely to prey on new victims when they're released from prison, around 80%. However, the rate of re-offense falls to only 2.3% if they are surgically castrated. You can find the reference for this data on the Wikipedia article relating to Castration.

I applaud Poland for putting children's rights ahead of the rights of criminals. Hopefully more countries will follow suit. Spain is also thinking about it.
