  • he he he

  • crap~!1

  • yeah!"!!

  • Look at the year..

    that video is so old.

and please can u show me your videos?

  • Seriously, have you considered Capoeira?

I noticed many of the camera tricks you used to make the kicks seem more impressive :)

  • lmao....way to use the Team Ryouko Theme song dude. Your pretty good but your own team......dont see it happening any time soon. And BTW Dont confuse it. Team Ryouko Aint purly martial artists. they are performers.

  • Prick777, martial arts is more than fighting, kicking etc. Believe me, man !!!

  • tomar no cu !!! idiotas nao sabem nem chutar direito

  • Vai tomar no cu voce!!!Quero ver vc falar isso na minha frente depois que eu chutar a tua bumda mole moleque!!!Fuck you!!!

  • to Prick777.ok what if you dont have that weapon with you when your attacked?.what happens then?ask yourself that.

but i do agree that tkd isnt very realistic.but dont underestimate tkd, those guys have great balance and are lightening fast and throw some unpredictible kicks.and you have to admit tkd guys deserve some respect 4 the crazy crap they can do.

  • i wanna see u do all that in a street fight..ull have a muay thai kick knock u out wit one blow..

  • Why dont you try fight me?I'll kick your ass very slowly, and then you'll learn the meaning of respect.

  • what do you need kung-fu, tae-kwon-do or something else for... buy a weapon.

  • if you do a korean marital art, like TaeKwonDo, then why do you have a Japanese name?

  • that's really wayne :P

i can play football with the same name, too. or not?

    :P greetz

  • Re: The sidekick and power - it all depends on how it's delivered - with a push, or a snap and thrust action (bringing the hips into play) the latter is far more powerfull and certainly not 'just like a pushkick executed sideways' and can quite easily result in a busted rib or worse! Nor do you need to 'step in' (shuffle is all thats required) to deliver this kick, which can be delivered with power off the front foot if you know what you are doing!BTW fuck Muay Thai!

  • well said apart from fuck mt hahah let people have their dreams hey. who are you associated to and were do you train

  • MUAY THAI POWER!!

  • What's the difference between a theif and a thief?

  • Heey... Really great video. You can really do some stuff. The kicks just seem a little "unfocused" - like you are just kicking the air in all directions and not actually aiming the kicks at a target... But a great show and some really hot stuff there!

  • lol. great vid nice aerials but out of all those kicks i didn't see 1 sidekick which is one of the most powerfull kicks in tkd. how long have u guys been training for? p.s still a really great show of kicks.

  • Forget sidekicks. They're good for show. Never seen one in a real fight/proper competition.

  • "Forget sidekicks. They're good for show. Never seen one in a real fight/proper competition."

well i have done sidekicks in competition and have seen them done, the poor bloke i fought was knocked off his feet about 3 ft, also as my master told me he once did a sidekick on a *theif* and broke 2 of his ribs with it if u dont call that a powerful kick your living in hollywood :D, keep up the practise guys :D

  • Hahaha. I said "proper competition". I dare you to find one video on youtube of a decent fight or match where someone uses a sidekick. As far as the "theif"-story is concerned, if that isn't Hollywood bs then I don't know what is.

  • i dont want to waste my time looking just watch:

Top 100 Taekwondo Scoring Techniques ~ Sang H. Kim (DVD)

it shows a bloke being knocked right off his feet by a sidekick. Also there is nothing i can say that would prove my teachers story other then my word, if you would like to come train with us and hear it from him your welcome to. we're the school called Paek ma in kent england.

  • In WTF taekwondo it is sometimes (rarely) used to knock someone of his feet, that's true. Still, then it is more of a push and not a a killer blow. It's more a movie kick. If I'd lived in England, I would be there pronto. See if you'd hit me with your side kick. You'd be the first one in my 15 years of karate and taekwondo training.

  • yes, its rarely used becouse its underated by Taekwondo users, still if you've been training for 15 years and never hit by a sidekick, i dont belive you, also a sidekick is not a push, if u pushed with the blade of the foot you would break your foot, and also being that you've trained for 15 years, if u had passed all grading that would make u 4th dan right? surly you should know all this!? well im gonna stop commenting now, im sure your a better martial artist then me :D

  • Im 2nd dan karate. Grading works different in most styles/organisations. Have you ever even been outside your own dojo?

  • Breaking your foot? In karate there are two different kinds of side kick: keage (snapping) and kekomi (pushing). If you try to impress people with theory, at least get your facts right. In practice, however, side kicks rarely work. Except maybe in a fictional fight with two thiefs that you brag about to your students.

  • *Except maybe in a fictional fight with two thiefs that you brag about to your students.* well first read the comment before you reply becouse i said as my master told me he once did a sidekick on a *theif* and broke 2 of his ribs with it. cause belive it or not im not the master at our school, im the student. plz dont reply to this since its a waste of both our time when we should be training instead of haveing a debate on the internet.

  • liu hailong, cung le, plus many other sanshou fighters use side kicks all the time in ring fights and have been successful. check it n see for yourself on you tube.

  • You're right. But you have to admit that they're not killer kicks. They use them to keep the opponent at a distance or to create an opening. I still would say that it's not the most useful kick. I was mainly replying to the guy who said it was a shame that they didn't use side kick. "One of the most powerful kicks in TKD". I found that a rather lame comment.

  • Cool.

  • you're perfectly right, since those guys probably do tkd I speak of a side kick in tkd, it is more of a push kick and even executed like a push kick, just sideways, it's only useful if stepped in or delivered to the face, but thats barely possible against skilled fighters so it is not that mighty kick haters are talking about in here! reláx
