I'm preety sure, it was a Queen of Secrets. In the riddle in the brothel, it was necessary to fit the murderer's mask to her statue, apart from that - the murderer is moving a bit as a woman. I think that she could be a pupil of Ackerman, who taught her to kill for his art and also, he gave her his costume.

I still think to this day that it was her boyfriend Richard. just how he romanticized the paintings. It was way too creepy the way he talked about them. And the fact that he had the ones that were on ackerman's wall in Prague on his computer screen saver. that just seemed really off to me. I don't know. Guess we'll find out when the second one comes out.

According to the writter of Still Life, the clue's in one of the paintings. My bets are they didn't even make an appearance in the game. Although with the killer's lanky frame, it's perfectly plausable to be the partner.

That is a good question. Victoria had fainted -- the masked killer could have done the deed many times over. He was actively trying to kill her when she entered the bathroom. Why didn't he do as such when she was out cold?

The answer, I suspect, can be traced back to Mark Ackerman's killing of Ida in Prague. He woke her up just to make her feel the pain. What I'm thinking is that I don't think he (the killer in the present) had the luxury to hang around and do it while Victoria was out of it.

Everytime those cutscenes like the ending one hit, it had the great music, it was very thrilling. This game was very, very nice. But there was nothing but puzzles, a bit surprising to me. But still a great story! Theres a new one coming out this year i think.

I got a hunch..maybe it's richard. His screensaver has Ackerman's paintings, he's quite knowlagable about Ackerman and his 'past' and he was SUPPOSED to be watching after Mia.

Though, something tells me it can't be that simple an answer...

It was dark outside and it would of been hard to see the killer's face. Plus the Mask came off in mid-fall as the killer was about to hit the water. So even if lighting was not a factor, Victoria wouldn't get a clean glimpse of the killers face due to angle and speed of the killer's fall.

Also, the fact she still doesn't know the killer or thier face at the end would prove that she couldn't see thier face, and thus Richard (if it was him) wouldn't of been identified by Vic.
