i dont think this should have started with bill haley, more like robert johnson or something, then again i understand that he was blues but still very important to rock
why wasn't little richard in this at all? after all he did originate rock and roll. and michael jackson should be in here as well. but the culture club, as good of a guilty pleasure that they are, should not be in here, nor should the village people.
entertaining video, but too many omissions: dylan, johnny cash, hendrix, zeppelin, cream, prince, eagles, velvet underground, metallica, counting crows, the band, the who
GOOD by THE KINKS ("you Really Got me" 1964 is the Milestone of the whole Hard RocK) WAS OMMITED: -The Grateful Dead -The Velvet Underground -Frank Zappa -James Brown (too important) -The Who -Led Zepp.. -Black Sabbath -Parliament-Funkadelic -Aerosmith -Metallica -Red Hot Chili Peppers DOWN WITH'THE PRESIDENTS OF THE U.S.A "! (2 chord bullshit!)
tht was pritty awsome to watch PINK FLOYD! :D altho, Near the end when it was gettin towards 00s i wudo of added The Strokes and finishing with THE ARCTIC MONKEYS,
so disappointing!! alot or real rock bands looked over and many other bands from different genres put in.... maybe im wrong who knows, but if some of those bands are called "rock" then i lost all hope for the future of music
Add Chuck Berry, lose the Supremes. Change 'Let it Be' to something less balladic by the Beatles. Day Tripper is a good example. Lose the Monkees, what an insult. Replace them with the Who. Simon and Garfunkel can stay at a push, but add Hendrix and Zeppelin.
Maybe something like Muddy Waters or Howlin' Wolf should be added to give an idea of rock history. Lose Culture Club and the Village People, total joke. Kravitz? Green Day? Think again. The Britpop section is good but a little overlong.
and what about the early beatles stuff? thats definately rock 'n' roll and should be here! and the omission of little richard?!?! bo diddley?!?! not to mention the mighty zeppelin and the others that were mentioned. good idea but MANY omissions...

Replace last 3 bands with Radiohead or RHCP.
