You might be dehydrated and missing some nourishment, could be why your arm does that. My knees have been doing that since I was 16 and now my arms and neck do that too. It's because I never want to drink pure water. I'm always drinking diuretics (stuff that makes you pee more and dehydrates you some more like caffeine rich sodas i.e. mountain dew, xyz-cola, energy drinks, coffee, tea etc.) and I also hate the glucosamine, chondroitin and omega 3 supplement pills...But it can become arthritis:(
LOL, this was so funny. But y'know I see why a lot of stores have to close or go out of business. If they made their check out counter the priority they would sell more products. Because you get a lot of attitudes at the check out counter. To me that's where the biggest smiles should be. They should never put overly sensitive or short-fuses there. I smile and I leave the items right there when I get a snotty cashier. They don't care but the store does and that's where their check is coming from.

it very hard to upset me at work. some things annoy me, but i dont get mad or rude about. if i EVER get rude w/ a customer, it's b/c they were being intolerably rude to me. some customers come to the store and confuse the workers for slaves, and i will make sure to let them know that's not the case.

But when you see a customer who is in a good mood with a smile on and one who ask you how you are, etc...show some courtesy back. It's when they pretend they don't see you and act like they could careless, I get turned off. I won't argue with them either. I just say, Oh really okay...and I tell them very calmly that I changed my mind. That's very rare because most cashiers are nice

I share your pain, Barry. I've also worked at this "namless retail giant" in softlines.
Plus I've worked other retail stores too, and I was always on the schedule to close. Ppl do not understand that you don't get to go home just because the sign on the door says "We close at _:_."
Christmas hours are the worst! Stores stay open later, don't get home till 1 and 2 in the morning.

I used to work at a Subway and people would come asking for 5 different kinds of meats and would get mad when their sandwich came up to be 15 and didnt wanna pay. Then I had to write down the sandwich and what was on it and dispose it and thats annoying

You might be dehydrated and missing some nourishment, could be why your arm does that. My knees have been doing that since I was 16 and now my arms and neck do that too. It's because I never want to drink pure water. I'm always drinking diuretics (stuff that makes you pee more and dehydrates you some more like caffeine rich sodas i.e. mountain dew, xyz-cola, energy drinks, coffee, tea etc.) and I also hate the glucosamine, chondroitin and omega 3 supplement pills...But it can become arthritis:(

LOL, this was so funny. But y'know I see why a lot of stores have to close or go out of business. If they made their check out counter the priority they would sell more products. Because you get a lot of attitudes at the check out counter. To me that's where the biggest smiles should be. They should never put overly sensitive or short-fuses there. I smile and I leave the items right there when I get a snotty cashier. They don't care but the store does and that's where their check is coming from.

@WhereYaBoss 9 times out of 10 when you get a snotty cashier it's b/c theyve dealt w/ a few rude customers before you. it's not your fault, just bad luck.
it very hard to upset me at work. some things annoy me, but i dont get mad or rude about. if i EVER get rude w/ a customer, it's b/c they were being intolerably rude to me. some customers come to the store and confuse the workers for slaves, and i will make sure to let them know that's not the case.

@mcamurray I hear you. You're right. I think that's the case most times. Some customers do need to get checked. But when you see a customer who is in a good mood with a smile on and one who ask you how you are, etc...show some courtesy back. It's when they pretend they don't see you and act like they could careless, I get turned off. I won't argue with them either. I just say, Oh really okay...and I tell them very calmly that I changed my mind. That's very rare because most cashiers are nice

UGH they do the same thing at my job, they act like the "government is gonna watch out for them" UH NO stupid, the barcode just holds your BIRTHDATE so it makes it quicker. It's 2010! And it only takes like 3 seconds so they need to calm down.
