Another series or show, I believe its called "How the states got their shapes" or something like that. That show is probably more of what you are lookin for.

Actually most Taliban member didn't know much about Bin Laden. For the most part it wasn't untll after 9/11 they found out that he was Arab not Afghan. AL Qaeda was in Afghanistan before Pakistan.
