I remember the new thing in 2008 being that camp snoopy or something like that up near the front where the Berenstien Bears used to be. This year was the lights along frontier trail. 2000 was Millenium Force, 2001 was Johnny Rockets resturant (very good btw), 2002 was Wicked Twister, 2003 was Top Thrill Dragster, 2004 was Castaway Bay, 2005 was skyhawk, 2006 was maxair, 2007 was mavrick 2008 was that camp snoopy or whatever at the front of the park. I try 2 keep up on that. Next year is S.T.R.

I filmed pretty much your entire ride. Had you for some reason been thrown from your seat or had blown chow, and I wasn't rolling on it, I would have been very disappointed with myself.
i never had the balls to even CONSIDER this thing. Haha i get nauseous pretty easily so i refuse to ride this, the witches wheel, and maxair just cuz I'd much rather keep my digested food where it belongs...in my stomach =)
To be honest, Skyscraper doesn't get me dizzy like Maxair or Witches Wheel. It's more of a very smooth and breezy Ferris Wheel.....that happens to go upside down and very fast.
I want to ride this so bad. me and my friend got so close to going on it. didn't make it though. We did ride the sky coaster thing though. Does this thing cost money?
I think it costs $10, but they got a pass discount. I did the sky coaster thing at Kings Island. Aside from being choked by the harness it was awesome.
Is that Magnum behind Skyscraper? Magnum, I'll ride. Skyscraper ... neh. Will keep my feet on the ground ... can just picture me getting flung out of the ride and becoming a pancake on the ground. LOL 5/5 stars, Josh and Sean WAY braver than me. *b-gawwk*
That is indeed Magnum. They did say that, at times, the harness was the only thing keeping them from kissin the concrete. I'll for sure ride it next year. Unless I b-gawwk as well!
You should give it a try sometime. Josh was terrified but said he would do it again. Cedar Point runs Skyscraper somewhat slower than other versions I have ridden (like Katanga in Orlando which is now gone) but its still an amazing ride. Well worth the $10 in my opinion.
LOL Slow, eh? Prolong the torture? LOL Still, I'll have to watch this one a while before committing. LOL My body ain't as young as it used to be. Plus, a long way from Ohio ... in far off Texas. I miss Cedar Point. Thanks for replying, take care, Sean!

Skyscraper was new in 2008. It's located in Challenge Park. I remember seeing a news release about it, but it wasn't promoted all that much.
