Either way, if you're happy with your console then that's fine. I'm happy with my PS3, and I'm especially happy with the BluRay playback on that thing. If you think about it they did mention there were other lands and other fertile grounds so the dark god could be recaptured again. I dunno if it was just me but on my PC, PoP got returned to the store and traded for Left4Dead, but whenever Prince made a slightly remote suggestion to hitting the sack or getting it on they posed for 1 second grining at the camera and they are always grinning for some reason.
Here Elika lies dead and i can see a smirk on the Princes face while i go about chopping trees like Lumberjack of Persia.
Glad to be of service i just hope the next PoP can keep me entertained and Challenge me enough to keep me at it for a week.
To me it feels like they spent so much time making his jacket look good they forgot the deadline. Also so much time got sunken in Elika who is a great advance of npc support characters but it just felt to me that if i replaced her with an amulet that made me have mystical powers or say a time reversing dagger the game would have been longer..... and less crappy dialogue.
That's why I only rented it, my friend all told me it was too short. But I got alot of achievements out of it. I enjoyed the dialogue I found it really funny.
You probably will i just hope they can make it longer next time this was like half the length of 2 thrones which was pretty short for a PoP.
BTW there is no alternate ending I have played through for the 4th time with all the Lightseeds collected and all bosses defeated in a different order and no other ending.

I found that the most striking thing about the ending was the sheer silence of it all. I really didn't notice how much Elika contributed to the ambiance until she was silent.
Crazy, crazy Prince...I understand why he did it but come on, Elika told him how she felt about being brought back by her father. She said her father betrayed her Mother's memomry and betrayed their people. And then the Prince turns around and ends the world? If I were Elika I would have been pissed to say the least.

cmon... really? I absolutely loved the ending, especially the fact that you're given control of the whole thing. You have to go and destroy the trees by yourself. Didn't that give you a feeling of desperation!? I was so sad i almost cried at that last part... :(
Why do some people think the ending sucks? It was amazing and I was happy it was not a "land is free." Prince of Persia 2 is going to happen because of the achievement you get. They also ended it with a cliffhanger.

Lol, I just finished it a few hours ago and when I the credits finished I was like "Wow, The game rocked but... I SPENT HOURS TRYING TO HEAL THE LANDS & I JUST UNDID IT IN 3 MINUTES.. It's great that elika gets to live and everything, but still I was thinking, "Ok...you saved the woman you love, but you just completely erased what I spent the last four days fixing, and...isn't she going to be REALLY pissed?"

i built my own 360, it works fine, it takes a bunch of guys at a warehouse 6 hours to build one, it took me 4 months, but it works.
plus this game is built into mine so i took the game back and can still play it.

I got 700 seeds,I could give all of them to her if I could,but I guess all those seeds were stored in that tree with her Life Seed.

2 Edings Good and Bad:
1.Good:Elika dies and Game Over,you find your donkey and go back home to babeylon.You start drink,and drink,and drink,and then suicide.
2.Bad: You revive Elika with cost of whole world.

If you listened to all the dialog between them and watch them grow closer then you knew this was what he was going to do.

Glad to be of service i just hope the next PoP can keep me entertained and Challenge me enough to keep me at it for a week.
To me it feels like they spent so much time making his jacket look good they forgot the deadline. Also so much time got sunken in Elika who is a great advance of npc support characters but it just felt to me that if i replaced her with an amulet that made me have mystical powers or say a time reversing dagger the game would have been longer..... and less crappy dialogue.

That's why I only rented it, my friend all told me it was too short. But I got alot of achievements out of it. I enjoyed the dialogue I found it really funny.

You probably will i just hope they can make it longer next time this was like half the length of 2 thrones which was pretty short for a PoP.
BTW there is no alternate ending I have played through for the 4th time with all the Lightseeds collected and all bosses defeated in a different order and no other ending.

Remember Warrior Within, think you escape, but the whole world gets fucked up and you have to set things right most likely by finding the temple of Ormazd and getting that motherfucker to help you or something something in that direction.
Just hoping the prince won't turn all emo on us again. I hated Warrior within because of his attitude, going from humanly flawed teen to snarling at barely dressed women.

I found that the most striking thing about the ending was the sheer silence of it all. I really didn't notice how much Elika contributed to the ambiance until she was silent.

Crazy, crazy Prince...I understand why he did it but come on, Elika told him how she felt about being brought back by her father. She said her father betrayed her Mother's memomry and betrayed their people. And then the Prince turns around and ends the world? If I were Elika I would have been pissed to say the least.

I loved the ending, even if I spent more than 12 hours playing through it. He saved her at the cost of releasing evil onto the world. If that isn't love, I don't know what is. X3 Women, am I right?

well i just beat the game. like just now, but anyways i thought it was a good ending because it leaves room for a sequel; not to mention that there is still mystery behind who the prince really is. Plus i hope that if there is a sequel, which im pretty sure there is, that this one is based on the prince's land. the ending is kind of a win lose ending, so its disappointing yet great at the same time. if you know what i mean

Well that is something I will find out, thank god the ending made me want to see what happens when I have all the LS, else I would return the damn thing, finished in 1 day not even god-damn 4 hours of game play, it's shorter than p0rtal and not even close to how good it was.
But guess you just have to be a PoP vet to finish in 1 day.

Amazing ending. Fit for a new Trilogy.

cmon... really? I absolutely loved the ending, especially the fact that you're given control of the whole thing. You have to go and destroy the trees by yourself. Didn't that give you a feeling of desperation!? I was so sad i almost cried at that last part... :(

Why do some people think the ending sucks? It was amazing and I was happy it was not a "land is free." Prince of Persia 2 is going to happen because of the achievement you get. They also ended it with a cliffhanger.

Neither of them actually die in the end or get 'eaten up', prince just releases darkness and anrahmin or whatever his name is and they have to start all over again. Pretty sure theres going to be a sequel to this.

yeah nothing after the credits, it just loads back to the main menu. IGN guide says something about the Princess punching you in the face,. but I didnt get that

beating it in Under hrs it a Bronze Trophy and is easily done. i did it in 11:30, add an couple extra hours to get all the Light seeds

Lol, I just finished it a few hours ago and when I the credits finished I was like "Wow, The game rocked but... I SPENT HOURS TRYING TO HEAL THE LANDS & I JUST UNDID IT IN 3 MINUTES.. WTF" but yah the ending was an awesome cliff hanger, there should have been a secret alternitive if anything. But at the end where it said, just "Just one grain of sand, can change it... just one grain of sand" that was cool.

i juz beated da game today,fuckin awesome,major improvement over da previous..i think wen da prince cut down da tree and bring elika back is like everything black again..i think he reverse everythin back to save her..i mean athirman dead bt then he came back again..maybe the hunter,the warrior,concuibe,alchemist r all back in da next sequel too..the prince may have re-deposed all the corruption again...

Just beat this today. Can't wait till the next one comes out. The ending kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. It's great that elika gets to live and everything, but still I was thinking, "Ok...you saved the woman you love, but you just completely erased what I spent the last four days fixing, and...isn't she going to be REALLY pissed?"
